Minato's character/ plot BS

Kishi made Minato look like a retard, this guy died as the only person who knew about Tobi, and instead of scribbling a message in the dirt about tobi or heck, even telling the frog he summoned and then sent to jiraiya about tobi he died with crucial info about a major threat to the village. The only reason obito didn't return the next day and steal Naruto is because of plot. This also caused the Uchiha to get put under suspicion which eventually led to the massacre. Minato made HUGE ****-ups.

The part with the frog happens in chapter 504 page 9 Minato summons him and tell's him to store himself in Jiraiya because he has the key to Naruto's seal. All Minato had to do was tell the frog to tell jiraiya about tobi and his space/time abilities. This would massively change the story. It's completely obvious that Kishi didn't plot out his story in advance. Otherwise holes like this wouldn't exist.

There is no ambiguity minato is a dumb character BECAUSE of the plot bs, but if you wan't to be considered a good writer the LEAST you have to do is have your story make sense.

Obito should of come back and taken Naruto the very next day literally no one would of been able to stop him. White zetsu finds Naruto using his underground powers to search konoha then obito teleports to his room and takes him. There should not be holes this large in your story.

Maybe. Those are good points. However, Obito is one I can't give you. Death of a Hokage would put the village on high alert. Hiruzen and Danzo would be working together to an extent. Also, we see in the manga very briefly, that Obito still saw Minato as his teacher. Killing Minato, in revenge for Rin, would be emotionally exhausting.

minato was never that strong or smart. kishi gave him kyuubi cloak just so he could keep up with the other hokages but he still ended up losing his arms..

could u imagine hashirama or tobirama with kyuubi cloak? they would have used it more effectively

Ok, it doesn't have to be the next day, obito was strong enough to steal naruto at any time in the TWELVE YEARS before the start of the series. He could of stolen Naruto when he was 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 or etc... You know what would of been smart? After the Uchiha massacre when Danzo and Hiruzen are distracted and in the uchiha district he teleports to where 7 year old Naruto is and kidnaps him. This is a massive oversight by Kishi

Dude, he needs Naruto if he wanst the kyuubi, Obito can literally teleport in front of Naruto, touch him, suck him up, and disappear in like 5 seconds. But i replied this to another member. You know what would of been smart? After the Uchiha massacre when Danzo and Hiruzen are distracted and in the uchiha district, he teleports to where 7 year old Naruto is and kidnaps him. And if you don't remember Hiruzen had his best anbu guarding kushina and Obito killed them effortlessly. No one could stop him in the leaf.

The thing is they would of still suspected the uchiha even with minatos testimony because it was a masked man minato didnt know his identity. telling jiraya that he had a space time technique wouldnt have helped because he didnt know all the details of how it worked and about catching naruto didnt you forget they were hunting the beast in order also there was no indication that naruto would become such a threat at 16

And Tobi couldn't get the Kyuubi from Naruto, he waited until Kushina was pregnant cause that was when the seal weakened, allowing him the oppurtunity to steal the Kyuubi.
