Eh, I don't think it's fair to assume he has low chakra levels just because he didn't use a shadow clone in a fight. I mean there are top-tier chakra monsters that don't use clones, right? There's nothing to say he has Senju/top tier chakra but likewise there's not much proof to say it's "not that great". You might say it would have made sense to multitask the Kyuubi and the masked man but there could be other reasons behind it. Mind you their fight only consisted of a handful of skirmishes... not exactly a drawn out fight.

He would probably have mid-high senju level chakra levels. (high senju being like tobirama, and god senju being hashi)

Summoning gamabunta teleporting a large bijuu dama, maintaining a seal while kushina was in childbirth, teleporting the full kurama are things that would be chakra draining.

Minato's chakra level same as Kakashi or abit above Kakashi,but his chakra control is same as that of a god tier....It is not that he can't use Clone's with his own chakra, infact there is no need for clones in that fight ..it is a foolish thing if u say that he can't use Shadow clone ...even Sarutobi is able to creat clone's when he a 70 years old man .......

& you think creating Kage-Bushin will fair him better against Obito who he also thought more of a threat than the full-powered Kurama. Facing him with 100% of his chakra is more logical than dividing it since he was about to battle the kyubi too, don't you think? Further we’ve seen him perform Instantaneous Swapping Technique. It seems obvious to me that he needed his clone to do that since no other FTG users aside from him & Tobirama. Or are you saying that he just perfected it from the first time he used it. Everybody needs a little practice even for an S-Class Shinobi.

Also, to refresh your memory, Minato prepared a barrier, maintains Kyubi in Kushina, uses Body Flicker and multiple FTG saving his son & Kushina. Teleported a huge size TBB, fought Obito, summoned Gamabunta, teleported a full kyuubi along with his TBB, performed 2 seals and put some of his & Kushina's chakra inside of Naruto. Still you think that maybe he can't use a Kage-Bunshin without the Kyubi's Chakra?

Moreover, you said it yourself, we don’t really know how much chakra it takes to perform FTG, then how can we be so sure how large his chakra reserve can be.

Edo Minato has a much larger chakra pool than when he was alive, all due to Kurama's Yin chakra. It's the same reason why Naruto can make thousands of clones with little fatigue.

He didn't really have time to make a shadow clone when he caught and saved naruto, nor did he need a shadow clone to save kushina. He didn't need a shadow clone to S/T barrier tbb, or teleport kyuubi away. 8 trigram seal and RDS don't require shadow clones either, so I'm really not seeing the use of him making it. He's talking about when the Hokage were all maintaining the barrier which held the Juubi.

@Penguin: I think he has high Kage chakra levels with his most notable feat being summoning Gamabunta and then using Hiraishin to port Kurama.
