Of all Characters in Naruto Universe, Minato has the most burdens that he have to shoulder.

1) His students
Obito supposely died
Rin was killed by Kakashi
Obito was the mastermind behind the death of Minato's and Kushina and the war thats going on right now.
2) His wife
- Killed by his own student and he still forgive Obito for it, while Obito goes ape shit because of Rins death.
3) His son
-Sealing Nine Tails to Naruto leaving him with a burden
-If Naruto wasn't a Jin, he wouldn't have to go through that life and death situation as of right now.
- Failed to help his son by sealing the Yin Kurama on Black Zetsu instead of Naruto

4) Himself
- Died in a short reign after being Hokage

And many more...
After all this he is still humble...he didn't went ape shit when he seen his son at the verge of death. He needs emotion..how can he coupe with all this.

Kishi made him so emotionless...

Hashirama's burden trumps all. Think about it.
Without Obito, Madara woudn't be revived. Harashima lived longer than Minato did, his wife died of old age,his students were fine and didn't go ape shit, his son or daughter was able to produce kids and his granddaughter is still living, he has the most haxed Kekkai.
The only thing he shoulder was growing up at time of war and trying to find world peace, but he was born powerful, got no worries.

Itachi Fans Logic
1.) Killed Clan (obito was about to do it anyways) Itachi probably didnt like Half of em anyway
2.) Let people think he was a traitor (Who cares)
3.) All the crap with Sasuke (Tell truth and tell dont get revenge and let him ENDURE)

If you take a moment to take Minato's hard-on out of your mouth, you will realise that Minato had a fairly happy and successful life, he fulfilled his dream to become Hokage, he was respected by his teammates (and the whole Third Shinobi War generation generally), he married the woman he loved, he had a son. His family loved him, his whole village adored him.

Half of that can't be said for most of the characters in the Narutoverse and NONE of that can be said about Itachi, who I believe went through the most. He is the most tragic character and NOTHING that you say will convince me otherwise.

And before you go "ape shit" on me, let me note that Minato is my favourite Naruto character and I appreciate the qualities in him that you have mentioned. Still, that does not stop me from pointing out the obvious.

That's your opinion and nothing more. Of course he lived a good life, but after being revived to realized that his own death was at the hands of his student and he failed to realize it. Now because of Obito's doing, his own son is on the verge of death. For Itachi of course he shoulder many burdens, but that was his own choice.

Minato having successful life has nothing to do with Minato having alot of burdens,he lived a happy life but still carried a lot of responsibilities on his shoulders,Itachi is indeed the most tragic character even but that doesn't mean that he carried more responcibilities than Minato.

If u put some attention u can easily realize that Itachi's actions are kinda selfish,he did everyting for the sake of Sasuke and put Sasuke above everything else but in Minato's case he put village above everything else.

Minato wank thread is strong. So much dik sucking going on in one thread itachi and sasuke fans should be ashamed to be out dik sucked.

Only burden minato had was being hokage in which seems like a god damn joke.

Minato has a more burdens than Itachi? Now that is bad fan logic right there. Let's sum up here a little.

Minato's Burdens
Losing two of his students over a short period of time. ( Moderate Burden )
Sealing the Kyuubi within his only son. ( Minor Burden )
Dying as he saw his wife and himself pass away, knowing he had succeeded as a Hokage and dying happily. ( Minor Burden )
Getting to see his son and help in one more time. ( No Burden )
Being Revived. ( No Burden )
Failing to save his son for now and failing in his promise to Kunshina. ( Moderate-High Burden )

Itachi's Burdens
Growing up in a time of war. ( Minor-Moderate Burden )
Being a spy for both Konoha and the Uchiha. ( Minor Burden )
Possibility killing his best friend, or watched him die. ( Moderate Burden )
Making the decision to kill off his clan and family. ( Minor-Moderate Burden )
Killing off his clan and family. ( Moderate-High Burden )
Leaving his brother behind. ( Minor-Moderate Burden )
Living in solitude for several years. ( High Burden )
Having a "death" match with is beloved brother. ( Minor-Moderate Burden )
Dying happily, hoping he was successful as a brother. ( No Burden )
Being Revived. ( No Burden )
Defeating Kabuto. ( No Burden )
Admitting to having failed as a brother. ( Minor-Moderate Burden )
Saying farewell to his brother one last time. ( Moderate-High Burden )

Your comment is obvious proof that you lack the emotional understanding of solitude and mass loss. Itachi suffered more at several more times. Minato never was in solitude, he never felt lost and he rarely felt like he failed something. Actually, Minato felt happy a lot of times. He felt happy over having sealed Kurama in Naruto because he knew Naruto would master that power. His reunion with Naruto and dying happily also helped against all the other burdens. ( His only regret as he died was that he left behind a son. )

this is the true statement although i think sasuke's story was much sadder than itachi's, Itachi has more burdens than Minato even from a leadership position (as regards to what was in the best interest of the village.)

It is not a wank thread. If you read carefully, I stated that he is emotionless. I can give a dam shit about manga characters.

Half of what you said, Itachi couldve avoid it, but he chose to do what he did on his own free will. He didn't need to treat Sasuke the way he did or lied to him. He chose to side with Konoha and helped destroy the Uchiha.
Other than that there are many more things you left out for Minato, that everyone has seen and read during this war arc. I'll let his fanbase list it.
