Could minatos body still be used for edo tensei implying that the fight against the 3rd and orochimaru;when orochimaru used edo tensei that the third coffin didn't open or work and the body being in that third coffin being the 4th hokage

No. It wasn't Minato's body in there. It was one of the sound ninja that was in the Chunin exams. You can't revive anyone who has used the Reaper Death Seal with edo. It doesn't work because there soul is inside the Reapers stomach.

no, minato's body wasnt in the third coffin. edo tensei uses different bodies that take the form of the souls that are being resurrected. Minato's soul is sealed in the reaper death god so there is no way he can be used for edo tensei at all

Holy crap. Never thought about this. Maybe this way the person would completely come back alive since his original soul would be in his original body.

The chances of doing this are always very slim though, since the Original Body after death is either completely destroyed by some Jutsu in Naruto, or is in a very bad state.

yeah they only problem with using the real body is that it has to be a living sacrifice so either kabuto uses his dead soul jutsu like he did when fighting kakashi in the hospital and then use the temporarily alive body to resurrect another xd

It doesn't matter where his body is. His SOUL is sealed away.

When Orochimaru tried to summon the 4th Hokage it failed. Kabuto clearly explains this.
