Minato's BM (misconception)

Minato earned BM just like Naruto did. He had all the time in the world to do so.

Both his and the Kyuubi's soul were sealed together "battling" for all eternity. All Minato had to do was seal it inside himself and learn how to use/access his power like Naruto did. Once again he had all the time to do so while he was sealed inside Shiki Fūjin. Him learning BM is not a asspull, idk why everyone thinks it is...

No... Yin Kurama was simply aware of the situation on the battlefield and was not hostile to Minato, so Minato was able to freely access his power from the Seal without having to fight, befriend, or even encounter Kurama's Will. He, by default, had the power that Naruto needed to work for.

Minato didn't consciously interact with Kurama in the Death God. None of the Shinobi have any memories from the time spent in the Death God; Hashirama didn't even remember that Minato hadn't been present when Hiruzen sealed Hashirama/Tobirama. The statement that the two souls are "locked in combat for eternity" is just BS to add flavor/drama to the technique, but has not been included in Kishi's actual development.

By the time he was summoned in the war Naruto was 17, that's 17 years for Minato to learn BM. More than enough time seeing that it took Naruto roughly the same time to unlock his.

Nah I rather Hiruzen's version better. It also makes more sense that Minato would have to earn Kurama's power much like his son did. As far as we know that's how all the other jins obtained their power and this should be especially true for Minato seeing that he was locked in battle with the Kyuubi for about 17 years, maybe less depending on how long it took him to tame Kurama.
