Wait, are you talking about the tech he used to absorb and relocate the Kyuubi's TBB? The scene where he's standing on his own statue head in Konoha? If so, than ya that was a space time tech. It seems it was a form of FTG because he held one of his special kunai up when he was transporting it.

Yeah that's what he is talking about. It was a form of flying thunder god basically...he used the same seal that was on the kunai he uses for FTG but instead of teleporting himself he teleported the TBB.

There isn't two forms of FTG, he didn't mean that is was the second form of it when he hit Tobi with the rasengan, he was basically just saying, this is flying thunder god level two. Like, this is a more advanced form of USING it is what he meant, not a level up in the jutsu. He used it every other time before that in a defensive move. But when he hit tobi with the rasengan he used it in an offensive way, that's why he said that it was level 2, just because he used it in an offensive way.

Well there really aren't any different forms of FTG, just levels of expertise with the jutsu. What he used against the Kyuubi was just a larger scale form of the tech, no special version.

When Minato said he used V2 of FTG, it was mainly a reference to the skill level it required him to successfully implement.

Sealing technique from the Uzumaki clan. Sealed it, moved it somewhere close by. Minato would be a hell a lot weaker without the seals that Kushina's mother taught him.

that is correct but i thought that it was kushina herself that taught him?
