Probably but the barrier can stay for hours if he wants in the contrary of the space time barrier which operates only when he wants to teleport an attack. About the barrier, i think it's Minato who put that. Look:

He says he is gonna put a barrier(but in his mind he notice his chakra is drained). Kushina says "i can still fight Minato" cuz she realised that Minato wanted to do all his own eventhough he didn't had enough chakra, so she helped by releasing her chains to capture the Kyubi, but i don't think it's her who put the barrier

it's kushina barrier. take a look at this

Cool thread. I was just wondering, have you ever made a thread which doesn't contain Minato in it? (I don't mean that in a bad way or to make you look like a fanboy, I was just curious).

nice question. an intelligent one. well, as far as i know i only make threads interesting to me and to the likes of me. I don't care if it will interest you or not but if you have notice there's always two sides in a coin..

Great thread, +rep for you sir, finally someone explaining logically why Minato is quite badass.

Your list is quite extensive, but I only wanna add that apart from all the sealing techs, space/time techs and summoning techs (and speed and amazing intelligence and perception), I am 90% sure that he can use at least two elements in his ninjutsu because of this:

Kakashi claims that those in the jounin class have at least two elements and Minato was a jounin from early on (judging by the time he became Kakashi's sensei) and later became even Hokage. Furthermore, as Jiraya stated, he had originally planned to combine Rasengan with an element (one or more). Therefore, I believe it is safe to conclude that he had mastered at least two elements by the time of his death =]

true. I only use rasengan as his firepower because other techs are unknown. I personally believe that he has more offensive jutsu's other than rasengan. I think that the reason why he uses rasengan as his main weapon is that it doesn't require handsigns.

Nice one.......I know how great he was :D he never reached his prime yet was a boss..
I love how a guy explained Minato>>
Minato is the most broken character in NU. I cant even name someone, who has even a 5% chance of landing a f##king attack on Minato.

He "is" the definition of the word "UNSURPASSABLE"!!

Absolutely agree, besides, it's destructive power is higher than that of most elemental techniques, it IS based on the TBB after all. Naruto learned Fuuton as well, but he kept using Rasengan, because it's more powerful than a normal elemental attack (Rasen-Shuriken excluded).

As to the elements Minato uses, I can only guess, but I would bet on Fuuton and Suiton (because of his name -> Namikaze: wind and waves). Also he does manage to judge the disadvantages and advantages of Kakashi's Chidori only from one glance, so I would guess he could be at least a bit versed in Raiton? That or he could be versed in Katon, judging by Gamabunta's special attack of shooting oil out of his mouth where his summoner would have to cast a Katon technique to inflame it (and Jiraya did state that Minato and Gamabunta were a great team, Minato being one of the few people Gamabunta ever worked willingly with).

Before some of you give violent reaction especially the haters, please read the thread thoroughly though it's long enough but with lots of evidence from the databook and manga. Okay, after I saw how easily Tobi evaded Naruto, kakashi, B and Gai’s attack in the previous chapters, it made me think how balance Minato’s jutsus were. Some may say that he got a few so there’s no way he can be considered extremely powerful. Come to think of it, is this really true? Can we determine who the strongest shinobi based on how powerful the jutsu is? Or how devastating it is? Or by how useful it is in battle? Let me break down Minato’s arsenal and why I considered him to be the strongest as to this point.

Aside from having the speed and intelligence feats, his arsenal was made of Seals, Summoning, Space time tech, and Rasengan. Did i miss something? I think this is all he showed us so far but it doesn’t mean he is limited to these techs (i’m referring to his ninjutsu). Now, how can he be considered powerful having this few arsenal? Let's take a look......

Sealing Techniques: Some considered this tech or counted this as only one tech or two perhaps because he only showed us few. Let me get this straight....How can he be considered a master of seals if he has limited knowledge about it? Did everyone forget that he was taught by Kushina the Uzumaki’s secret sealing techs? How many are they? Could it be possibly be a hundred or even a thousand? Well, who knows...he probably knows a 100 of it or even a 1000 plus his own variation like the 8 trigrams seal. Kindly check this out:

Summoning:Minato has the contract with the toads. It is not a contract with gamabunta but with the toads living in Myoubokuzan. The 3rd databook says that upon signing a pact, the contractor is bound to all the Toads in Myoubokuzan. Not only he can summon Bunta but he can summon Ma and Pa and all toads living in that mountain. How can he use this to his advantage? You'll see later...:) Take note that it was even said that Minato was a better summoner than Jiraiya.

A sacred mountain where toads with strange powers gather

Can summon all toads in Mount Myoboku

Confirmed by Kishi that one who has a contract with the toads can summon all species living in Mount Myoboku

Now, how can he use this to his advantage?

1. He can summon Ma and Pa

a.) Fukasaku: When he steps into the battle field, he unleashes jutsu with a skill that can only be described as worthy of the gods. Also excels in using ninja tools and can use sage jutsu

b.) Shima: Can analyze the situation instantly during a fight, can use her sensory skills, and can also use sage mode.

During Jiraiya's fight with Pain, Shima uses her tongue to detect the invisible enemy

By combining lyrics and melody that only toads can produce, Shima and Fukasaku can cast the most powerful genjutsu known as Gamarinsho. Take note that the jutsu will succeed even if the target is with earshot

2. Can summon Gamabunta the boss of the toad: Bunta can use Water Release jutsu like cannon ball and can spew oil from his mouth that can be used in a synchronised collaboration jutsu.

3. Minato can summon the Gourd Toad Gamahyotan:

4. Minato can also use Food cart destroyer by summoning gamabunta:

Note: These toads are the only few that Minato can summon to help him in a battle

Space time tech: We know how this works and we know that Minato can use Space time Barrier to redirect attacks. Using this as his defence can make MA and PA do Gamarinsho. It also makes him difficult to attack.

Rasengan: This jutsu can do heavy damage to an opponent. Even Kabuto had trouble healing his wounds after being hit in Part 1.

Minato's Chakra: To those who underrates Minato's chakra, take a look at this!

Naruto in part 1 can use these many shadow clones

You must be registered for see images

But he can't use his own chakra to summon Bunta. He needed Kurama's chakra to be able to summon Bunta.

You must be registered for see images

It was said that Minato was able to summon Bunta in his youth. He can also summon bunta using food cart destroyer. In part 1, Jiraiya was able to use food cart destroyer by summoning Gamahiro which is smaller in size compared to Bunta.

Take note that the the amount of chakra required to summon the creature is directly proportionate to its size.

Suppressing Kurama during Naruto's birth, using FTG in many occasions during his fight with TObi, redirecting TBB, summoning bunta, teleporting both TBB and Kurama, using the RDS, 8 trigrams and sealing his remaining chakra in Naruto shows that Minato had a large chakra pool.

Now, combined Minato's speed, intelligence, sealing expertise, summons, FTG, chakra supply, and the ability to create many jutsu's according to his own style, is he the type of shinobi anyone can mess with? His speed alone is hard to deal with, how much more if he summons the toads mentioned above or he uses the Uzumaki's sealing techs.

With this balance of power, he is definitely a BOSS and is hard to deal with!!

Thanks for reading.....:ice:

nice work i believe we have only seen the tip of an iceberg.

true though we need to know if that interview was fake or not.

theres a latets interview from kishi and says he will develop the character of kakashi that he failed to develop 3years ago he said. i think it was said on that FAKE(claimed by other people) interview that he will develop kakashi next year it was on 2008. i dont know i cant remember exactly. so whats kishi's talking about in the latest interview??? if people claim that the latest interview was real and he was talking about the FAKE then its not fake?
