For all those Minato fanboys... I would like to ask "Why do you believe Minato is one of the strongest Kage?"

I am pretty sure that Minato isn't that strong and his techniques are overestimated.
Even Minato isn't that fast and he almost always uses FTG which is a Time and Space Ninjutsu...

The 3rd Raikage and the 4th Raikage are probably as fast as him if Minato doesn't use FTG. Not to mention the fact that both the 3rd Raikage and the 4th Raikage have the Lightning Armor on which slows them down even more.

Minato only knew 1 Fuuinjutsu which resulted in his death, thus it cannot be said that he was a master of Fuuinjutsu.

Other than that he only had the Rasengan which doesn't do much damage compared to the techniques shown by Obito, Kabuto, Itachi, The 5 Kage, Madara etc.

Minato hasn't been shown using any Elemental Based Ninjutsu, Genjutsu or even Taijutsu. (Naruto Shippudden Movies are not Cannon and thus cannot prove anything)


So if you guys say that Minato is very powerful, please try to explain how as well.

I'm not so much a Minato fanboy, but I believe he is the 3rd strongest hokage. Reason is that he's the main character's dad.....and just like in many other animes, that means he's beastly.

Besides, we haven't seen all that he's capable of, which we will no doubt when we see him fight as an edo.

He also did prove himself to counter kamui.....a major feat in the manga.

Not to mention him being hokage essentially means that he's the strongest in the village.

you dont get that pure power isnt everything... minato hasnt even shown half his techs... he is the fastest character in narutoverse and imo speed > power his sealing jutsu are potential the most lethal thing in narutoverse... why do you think someone thought it was necersary to exterminate the uzumaki clan :| ... i would honestyl rate him second strongest hokage ...

Jiraiya was the 2nd choice however he plainly refused.

Why do people have to say that Minato is not fast without FTG?
Its his technique he made it and perfected it. The Raikage's need lighting armor, How about we take that away, What does that leave them? He might always use it but its because he is amazing at it and nobody can track him. Also rasengan doesn't do much damage? He can do it with on hand which gives him a huge advantage in close range battle. The rasengan has been shown to literally damage and KO the opponent like what he did to Obito after the rasengan to the back he was done. Or how naruto with one Rasengan was able to defeat the last pain. Rasengan is one of the strongest jutsu's ever. Its not A-class for nothing. Yes your right for the fact we haven't seen much of a element or Ninjutsu as much but after the war I'm sure we will see it.
But either or if we do or don't he is still one of the strongest Kage's ever.

A & B were considered and were the strongest duo in the world at that time, and Minato made them look average...

He was a war-changer... Just his presence could defeat the enemy mentally... Let alone physically...

If he wasn't something, there wouldn't be war orders like..."We were told to retreat at his sight"...

And there were shinobi you might consider better than Minato, alive in that era...

He was Hokage. He was trained by Jiraiya. He was said to be a the prodigy of his generation. He had the title "flee on sight" during the 3rd war. Created Rasengan. Deafeated Tobi in seconds, which noone else has come close to. Raikage said he never thought anyone could ever surpass him. Jiraiya thought he was the "child of prophecy". And now Kishi is calling him one of the strongest edo's.

What more do you want Minato hater.
