how is nagato vs minato 50/50? the man can absorb chakra at will, hence rasengan being useless.

A. Asura path close-ranged minato if he was trying to ftg stab(kinda like he did with bee and naruto) and then take his soul away

or

B. shinra tensei it away like neo, just as he did when he faced hanzo

or

C. Chibaku tensei(game over)

or

D. Animal path and summon a hydra dog that multiplies when hit

......no, minato isn't winning this one

Pushing kunais with Shinra tensei won't help. Minato could take advantage of the interval of 5seconds at the moment his kunais got pushed away by teleporting to one of his kunais and blitz Nagato at that moment. Remember what happened against Naruto:

And Naruto didn't have a teleportation technique like Minato, he was even far from Minatos base speed

About Asura problem is that Minato is using a teleportation technique, so it's absolutely impossible to block him. Even if you block him for a second he can disappear and appear somewhere his markings or kunais are in an instant

I doubt minato can constantly spam ftg....for all we know he can only teleport to someone once and the seal on the opponent wears off. We never actually seen him ftg to an opponent twice if I'm not mistaken.

and you're also assuming that minato would absolutely hit nagato with the seal in the first place, which is very unlikely considering that he isn't the six separate paths of pain like naruto fought....but all of them in one.

omg, people on here underate Minato so much, so so much. Im an Itachi fan nut omg Minato is so underated here.
We do not know the full extent of Minato's powers. We only know of his immense speed, rasengan and shinigami technique, nothing else.
I would bet my balls that if Minato was alive now, he would solo Edo Madara, even though it would cost him his life, coz he would just use the Shinigami again.
And if he somehow ,manages to escape the Shinigami, he would be unstoppable, because he is now a jinchuriki.
He has half of the 9 tails chakra sealed in himself.
