FTG is part of Minato's main ability; it isn't that easy and it shows when it took three of his bodyguard to perform it. The three BGs could only use that tech to teleport another person, not on themselves. Minato is consider the fastest person that lived.

Please, people. It's getting old. Reeeeeally old. It's Minato's own merit to be able to use Hiraishin. Deal with it. Also, you seriously need to go and re read the Manga when Kushina's flashback is shown. Minato picked Naruto up using no Hiarishin faster than anybody else could. Piece of advice, Hiraishin is an evolved version of Shunshin, and whomever is able to use Shunshin is declared to be faster than many, Shisui for example, and A the Raikage. Minato simply evolved his Shunshin to Hiraishin.
