If you see the way he holds the kunai towards his face, then you can see the markings from FTG, exactly as when he teleported Kurama's Tailed Beast Ball during 16 years ago with his arms.

So, I think Minato's PLAN was to use S/T Barrier to transport those attacks in front of Kakashi and Obito to get there in time without his arms to save them so Kakashi can Kamui Obito to the other dimension.

I believe Minato can still use FTG and The Space Time barrier without his arms, no doubt.

I know he couldn't do it, but this is just a thought, imo....
