Actually for minato it is an easier job to take down pain, brcause he can speed blitz every path by separate.
In difference to Nagato,
*Nagato has all paths which means he alone has all paths and can block FTG+Rasengan with petra, but in Pain's case all path abilities are separate, which means that if minato decides to take one down, he would be able in the moment he figures out that the first he has to take down is naraka, which will be easy after that speed blitzing paths such as human, animal and asura would be easy job, and if Naruto could take down Deva with his speed, Minato obviously does it also, and since there is no shared link vision Petra would be easy target for minato.
Konan could be a problem, but still somehow manageable.
Minato>pain high difficulty
Minato=<pain+konan
Nagato>>>>>Minato
The clear advantage of being Nagato and not pain is that if you take one pain down that ability is done,and not all paths have good defenses like deva or petra, which means they are alot more easier to take down.
But in Nagato's case, he got LAYERS AND LAYERS of defense therefore protecting all 6 paths within him and making it more difficult to get rid of him, in my opinion.
