Minato is extremely powerful for sure but he is the most hyped character ever. Yes he defeated 100s of shinobi in moments during the 3rd world war but they were all no named fodder.
Yes he beat obito but obito was new to his ms and no experience with using kamui outside of killing those mist ninja so its clear later in the manga that tobi > minato, because we later see how effortlessly obito easily avoids everyone best case and point goes to obito easily being untouched by bm naruto who's blitz rivals ftg and ms kakashi who had the counter to obitos kamui and gai the greatest taijutsu user ever was or will be and the original jinchuriki killer bee despite all them he was only ever hit once by them would minato even live after a few seconds of battling them? He'll no and its true that 14yr old obito might beat shi sui but abc logic doesn't work for the simple fact of skill sets. Minato didn't live during the talent years of the uchiha he died when itachi was 7 years old that means shi sui was maybe 10 or 11 and minato years fugaku was the best and he only had 3 tomoe so its clear the next generation uchiha are nothing minato knows how to face
Furthermore even if shi sui chooses not to use kotomatsukami his genjutsu:sharigan tech that was used on Ao's kiri team was from a long range distance and the kiri ninja were still moving away and were going the opposite direction meaning shi sui cast genjutsu while they had their backs turned to him and Ao is one of the best sensors in whole manga actually head of the sensor division in the 4th War much better than Minato yet he said only itachi and shi sui could cast genjutsu without sensor ninjas knowing that means Minato would get wrecked from any distance by genjutsu.
Kotoamatsukami wrecks at any point in time during this battle even the kyuubi cannot save him
For those saying shi sui can't keep up with Minato don't forget shi sui is hailed as shi sui of the body flicker for a reason yes it's a d rank general jutsu but shi sui mastered it in a way nobody else has. He is the only shinobi that can use it an not be traced by sensor ninja, he is the only shinobi that can create after image clones that retain mass and can attack through them and pass through them so that right there is enough to counter ftg blitzing...body flicker after image clones, minato would never be able detect shi sui and tagging the after images is useless and impossible
