Body Flicker (what Sakura assumed Tobi did and Shino corrected her) is considered foot speed and is a viable speed feat. Even if this wasn't true, S/T is also counted towards a character's speed feats, at least in fan forums, so Minato would still be above Orochimaru.

I'm not just saying this because I adore both characters, but Orochimaru with his arms would take this with Medium Difficultly. No debate required. Orochimaru has only one weakness, his obsession of the sharing an. he rushed in with no plan against Itachi and Sasuke. If he had executed a long thought out plan, and not given not his lust for those eyes, he could have even beaten both of them, even though he knew that Itachi was stronger. and he was only stronger because of the loss of his arms and his weakened vessels do to whatHiruzen did to him. Orochimaru was and is a bad mofo!!!!!!!!!

I doubt his jealousy was based on who would lead but who was stronger and from my understanding Minato was chosen for his abilities which even Oro wanted. Another point if ur basing Oro's powers during the 4th's life time at that point in time Minato was stronger then Oro. Oro's power's grew afterwards but still I put Minato and Oro as a tie with a slight edge to Minato jus off the strength he was Hokage.

As seen, Orochimaru far outclasses Minato with more S-Rank abilities, and mastery of all the elements.

As for chakra reserves, Orochimaru's got him beat: Orochimaru has a Senju body now and was able to easily control even the creator of Impure World Resurrection. This also means that he can now enter Dragon Sage Mode as well.

As for the guy who said Hiruzen handled the Hokages, he needs to remember they were only summoned at a fraction of their power back then. With his Senju body Orochimaru can summon people at their full power now.

Hell, since Orochimaru also has Wood Release, he could in theory enter Sage Mode and combine that with Wood for devastating power like Hashirama did.

Taijutsu: Minato (FTG revolves around taijutsu. Quick reflexes and reactions that trump oros, also come into factor in taijutsu, every time Minato marks an opponent, that involves taijutsu. Databook labels ftg slash as taijutsu, so ftg manoeuvres and stuff is all taijutsu. Minato took on Raikage plenty times who is a taijutsu specialist, still outmanoeuvre him. Probably learned frog kata as well, so Minato hands down. Minatos striking and reaction speed>orochimaru's, so obviously Minato is superior here. His primary weapon has always been a 3 headed kunai, he's obviously a CQC specialist).

If You are gonna give Oro his senju body then its only fair you give Minato his Kyubi Mode also. His Speed and FTG together with Vast Sealing techs in his Arsenal is enough to match any Edo tensei that may be Summoned by Oro which many fail to say requires prep time(Full power or not) in which Orochimaru will not have against a Speedster.

Also i see people argue that Oro is more intellegent than Minato, which i guess can only be seen as an opinion and not fact due to the fact that Minato took Tobirama's Techs and made them "Better" before he even reached his prime. The Age diffrence alone in which these two intellectuals accomplished such feats in which they are hailed for is enough to decide which one was superior to the other in intellect.

As for Chakra reserves if you are going to Argue Oro due to senju body then i Argue Minato due to Nine Tailed Chakra w/ Immense knowledge of Chakra control that Kurama himself said was simply Brilliant. Although if we are talking base Oro vs Mina then i give Chakra reserves to Oro.


Verdict: In a Full scale all out battle between Orochimaru and Minato, Minato takes the Win. Whether: Neg,Low,Mid,High Difficulty wont matter... a Win is a Win.

Oro lived twice as much as Minato so his experience plays a big ass role when talking about Oro's overall intelligence. We all know how much Obito who was not really an intelligent changed after gaining considerable knowledge. So those points won't really put him above Minato in intelligence department.

Minato's accomplishments as ninja at such an young age far surpasses that of anything Oro or any of his fellow Sennin has accomplished. Orochimaru's own team members claimed that Minato's capacity as a ninja was unparalleled. So there is no question about Minato being smarter than Orochimaru. I don't really think one of them can really over smart other by a decent margin though.
