O.OWrong on 2 fronts. Kisame has the natural ability to absorb chakra, so with or without samehada he can absorb chakra,(DO U EVEN READ THE MANGA). And also he lost against gai mostly because he was weakened as mentioned by Aoba beforehand and also that Gai was JUST SO...FAR BEYOND IMMEASURABLY OP O.OO.OO.O (as to be expected from a jounin).

Well, knowing everything about an opponent while that opponent doesn't know a thing is hell of a advantage. Actually, I don't see any of those wining. I guess Minato could run forever, Kisame probably wouldn't get him. I don't see Kisame working out a genius strategy to fool Minato. But with Kisame being aware of Minatos tecs, I don't see Minato either getting close to Kisame. (By the way, arn't those markings Minato uses made f chakra? couldn't Kisame absorb them?)
We might not know everything about Minato, but with all we knwo about him, I'd say this would be a draw. In the end, the slightest thing could decide the match...

Dude even in the Dome Minato always has his options open Im pretty sure he always leaves a kunai at home so he could just run but that wouldnt happen cause by the time Kisame gets the dome Minato could be gone... The best thing Kisame could manage would be a tie with Minato running away but I have trouble seeing how that could happen... Kisame could just sit in his dome while Minato sits outside end of battle...

I'm not gonna try to change ur opinion that water dome doesn't do a shit to FTG.even inside the dome,those kunai does has the seal,so there will be scattered kunai all over the dome.so he can still use ftg,use the one closest to the edge and escape water dome, may even attack kisame within water dome.but that's a long shot for u to understand.

the water dome technique requires time to complete.even if minato throws a kunai at kisame, and kisame magically becomes fast enough(as fast minato is) to counter that with water dome at the same moment,the first flow of water-tide will be towards minato. now, think this carefully.there sure will be more kunai left on the field except on the path the tide is forming. minato can use THOSE kunai to use FTG. He can use the closest one to kisame except the ones already under water and smash him.And ftg is instant so water level will be the same.in fact it will be quicker than kisame producing one more ounce of water from his mouth.

now, if u say kisame will bring a homemade water dome to the battle field to fight with minato, that would be something.

Saying that Kisame could win because he knows about FTG is just pathetic, Minato still has a bunch of seals that Kushina teached him, Space time barrier. Want to know a little bit more about this techinique?, Minato can form a barrier that will teleport away incoming attacks directed at it, once the attack is warped away, Minato has to direct it to another location.
Another beast technique that people doesnt know about him, and they just say that if someone can counter FTG he is over + a ton of seals that we still dont know.

FINALLY
Against the water dome-
1. Kisame cant use the water dome, it requires tailed beast levels of chakra which Kisame got from Bee at the time.
2. If Kisame somehow miraculously obtained the tailed beast levels of chakra before coming to fight, Minato will still win. How? He needs to get out of the dome. He summons Bunta who is almost as large as the dome and has Bunta jump, even with the water pressure Bunta should be able to reach the top of the dome. Minato simply jumps of Bunta as the toad makes this leap and starts walking on the surface of the dome. He strolls to the end of the dome and uses a space time barrier from one end of the dome, the space time barrier acts like a portal which teleports anything that makes contact with it as seen in manga 502. He will use the barrier to swallow up most of the water and teleport it elsewhere, leaving Kisame so that he can finish him off.

tbh though i just think minato is plain better than everyone else and i wish more than anything for a detailed episode with a flash back fight featuring mina, that finally ends the "minato vs......" threads forever....
only three id ever wanna hear..minato vs naruto, sasuke, or madara......thats it....everything else is just ridiculous to me

I thought minato was also able to teleport other objects just like he did with the tailed beast bomb...why not teleport those incoming sharks behind Kisame? and if the whole match is within water-dome then it's possible that kisame has the upper hand here.
Minato summons Bunta, Minato marks Bunta's knife. Bunta throws the knife upward with all his might, the knife will move against the water pressure and come out of the dome, the Sharks will be busy attacking Minato, when the knife comes out, Minato teleports to the marking on it and throws kunai into the sky teleport to it, throw kunai sideways and keep teleport to them till he's out of the dome's range then he lands on dry ground then uses a space time barrier to teleport the water of the dome elsewhere leaving just Kisame. Scatters kunai all over the battle field, throw one at Kisame then teleport to him and kill him.
