Nope. Because unlike Nagato Kisame can't suck chakra out from people. What he can do is to absorb the chakra his enemy already pulled out. So as Minato doesn't use chakra Kisame's ability wouldn't work. Also I don't think Minato would let Samehada near him (knowingly or not about it's ability).

Kisame Gets Rasengan in 2 seconds and he won. And if hes trying to do that water tec minato can just teleport away. Minato wins.

yeah so you think its fair for kisame to have complete knowledge of minato and minato knowing nothing of kisame and then have kisames element near by during the fight? Seems fair but the outcome is the same minato wins this, if he got a hit on tobi who also knew about minatos ftg. tobi>kisame

It's always at the beginning of his big fights that he chucks his FTG kunai everywhere, so he can teleport out at will.
Also, those saying that his crappy, paddling-pool dome can take on a ninja protege, genius and complete all-round beast battle tactician. Mate, you've got to go back primary.:nohug:

Minato always throws out his kunai at the beginning of a fight, so that he has options.
however, especially under the conditions set by the op, kisame is no piece of cake. i would be very surprised if one rasengan is all it takes to defeat him, he's shown naruto levels of durability and stamina. it was his bad luck that he came up against a pure taijutsu user, that shark technique of his which was defeated by afternoon tiger was beastly otherwise, it would defeat pretty much anyone's jutsu.
yes he will get marked pretty early, but even if he gets hit he can merge with samehada and enter that water dome he makes no at least partially negate minato's superior speed and reflexes even when he teleports on top of him. minato wins, but he will have to work for it.

Well then.. summon a bunch of frogs. Place a seal on them, make them disperse. Then he has a variety of options to teleport to.:flaw:
But still, he will cover a large area with his kunais too. So the water dome will be useless. He would most likely have left a seal on one of his kunais or whatever somewhere before he entered combat aswell. His intelligence aint to underestimate.

some people can't accept that they might be wrong. they neglect proper argument by just saying 'it's not right' or 'mine is better'. 'NikesOnMyFeet' guy is one of them. u can't fill a cup which is already fill. He has already determined that kisame will win for sure and there is no way for minato to win. you can't reason with that kind of people.
Sorry kisame loses this match because minato definitely surpassed jiraiya and kisame said even he couldn't beat jiraiya and itachi said he could only manage a stalemate (probably just to avoid conflict though)

Good grief, Water dome+1000 shark jutsu WOULD make FTG useless because Kisame wouldnt have to move and the sharks would get Minato. If he summons toads and escapes. The toads are dead 1000 sharks is too much for some giant non-agile toads to handle.
Than Kisame uses his lake jutsu and still has the terrain advantage how would FTG work if the Kunais sink and the Seals sink. Minato couldnt get a rasengan on Kisame as he would be underwater.
