After seeing Minato in action i'm inclined to pick him, but then I remember Jiraiya has a much larger arsenal of abilities and so that could perhaps swing the match in his favour.
Minato
-FTG
-Rasengan
-Gamabunta Summon
-Space time barriers
-Summoning: Food Cart Destroyer Technique
-Dead Demon Consuming Seal
-Uzumaki sealing techniques
Jiraiya
-Sage mode
-Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld
-Gamabunta summon
-Summoning: Toad Mouth Bind
-Toad Flatness โ Shadow Manipulation Technique
-Chakra-Suppressing Seal
-Five elements seal
-Rasengan
All Jman has to do is summon Fukasaku and Shima so they can gather nature energy while he is in combat with Minato...but I still think it ends in a draw
Jiraiya once said that Minato was a better toad summoner than he was and that Minato was the only person Gamabunta respected and would listen to all the time.
So I would say that the Toads are on Minato's side. Especially considering they all thought he was going to be the child of prophecy.
Against strong opponents jiraiya would get killed off easily if its out of manga scenario.
Example against pein, it had to be manga scenario that allowed him to get into sm. If its out of manga scenario and pein summoned all 6 paths, jiraiya wouldve been killed even before he gets into sm.
Similarly i cannot see minato sitting around and letting jiraiya get into sm, therefore minato takes this. Low to mid difficulty at best

Good point, just hard imagining them abandoning him.Jiraiya is known for his chakra and he pretty much know everything about Minato (which could be key), so it wouldn't surprising if Jiraiya used several kage bunshin to counter FTG.

It would probably be a difficult battle because Jiraiya does have so much chakra, but we also don't know how much chakra Minato has.
The databook said he had large chakra reserves but who knows how big that means. I assume he had to have quite a bit to father a kid like Naruto though, and with the feats he did in his battle against Tobi and the 9-tails.
But I agree Jiraiya will make him work for it some.
hard to say really minato can deflect any of his attacks i think with that seal he used to deflect the kyuubi's tbb plus hes uzumaki op seals and he has summoning too plus ftg which wud make it more harder and every knows teleporting in this series = op but jman i dunno hard to say i give it to minato by a bit
Eh, because of Jiraiya being Minato's sensei, he has in-depth knowledge of FTG and everything pertaining to it. Minato has stamina issues as well. Let's say for the sake of argument that the boss toads don't support, only Ma and Pa with Jiraiya. I don't see Minato pulling this off easy, same for Jiraiya. I would either go with a draw, or J-Man pulling out the stops and getting the win. I simply don't see Minato pulling this off in any other way than the Reaper Death Seal.
