Itachi as of the moment is better and stronger, simply because of the many jutsus he possesses. Let's wait and see what Minato can do, and so many of these threads lately.

sorry dude but i think it's an even fight. I think Minato would have an upper hand in the fight because like Kakashi say in the manga the hokage represents the strongest ninja in the village so yea tell me if i'm wrong.

Minato would probably win this.

1.) If he puts a contact seal on Itachi, Itachi is really screwed.

2.) If Itachi puts up a Susano'o, Minato can throw FTG's everywhere. He can teleport to dodge Susano'o Totsuka Sword.

3.) Minato does not need to beat Yata Mirror, but outlast that. We all can agree he out lasts it.

4.) A dodged Amaterasu, Minato can due to FTG + superior reflexes.

5.) Minato can summon Gamabunta for assistance if he really needs it. It would waste one of Itachi's Amaterasu or a Totsuka Blade attack to kill the toad.

6.) Minato dodges Visual Genjutsu attack called "Tsuykomi" or whatever. Reason why?

a. Minato would need intel to do this.
b. As soon as Itachi is about to use Amaterasu, or a MS genjutsu tech, he closes his eyes. This activates MS from his original sharingan. Minato then throws a Kunai (FTG) anywhere and teleports. Dodges any MS attack by this method, only if he had intel.

If no Intel, Itachi beats his booty.

Not a fanboy of any.

He fought Obito and that is it. His sharingan and Itachi's are completely different. By an un-baised standpoint, Itachi wins pretty easy if Minato had no Intel. Tsukyomi or whatever is OP.

He has shown great knowledge on Sharingan to the point that he was even able to determine that if it was Madara he couldn't control Kyubi for long and even developed a contract seal that stops the Sharingan control over Kyubi. It's not as if he hasn't shown to be able to fight while avoiding eye contact against a Sharingan/MS user anyway:

Tsukuyomi regardless of the power of the jutsu still needs eye contact and prior to that even needs to activate MS before and according to databook is even a close range genjutsu
