I hope everyone knows edo minato takes a huge shit on Itachi here because Minato has kurama with him lol.
if Kurama is restricted than likely Itachi.

If both are alive meaning no Kurama for Minato, I'd lean towards Itachi. I've heard good arguments from both sides tho.

As we all know, I'm a Minato fan, and I'm cool with many Itachi fans, but just to look back at it...

It was honestly at times worse than Sasuke and Naruto feuds.

There are soooooooo many more, but the shear time and creativity that went into these things were golden.
It was fun, but also stressful and annoying.

Minato could probably evade Totsuka and maybe Amaterasu, but he doesn't have any defense to genjutsu, which is Itachi's strongest weapon. It really comes down to Tsukuyomi and from there Itachi can really do whatever he wants with Minato. I think the only counter to Itachi could be someone like Shisui or anyone else who can neutralize his genjutsu and at the same time resist the Totsuka and bypass Yata, possibly Madara.

I know it sounds OP but that is because Kishi made it so, Itachi's genjutsu is too decisive, we saw that against every opponent he faced.

Keep in mind, Minato is my 2nd fav so I'm no hater.

Shows how fast healthy Itachi is. Speed feats > Minato (without FTG obviously), Minato has nothing that puts him over Itachi in base speed that we've canonically seen.

I think Minato's sage mode is not perfected like Naruto's and lasts a few minutes only, I don't think that is enough time to take out Itachi, and at best Minato will slightly surpass Itachi in speed(without ftg) but Itachi isn't too bad at taijutsu.

Without FTG? Absolutely. Teenage Bee showed that it's easy to react to Minato with good reflexes. Itachi is leaps and bounds faster than that Bee.

Serious question, why is bee countering with the tentacle or even when minato went behind him a factor when bee wasn't even involved in the fight really? When he blocks minatos strike on ay he was literally just sitting around watching, how does that show anything? Of course he could counter for ay if he's not even fighting. The second time bee was also just sitting there doing nothing again. If your not directly engaging/being engaged its a lot easier to see what's going on an analyze isn't it? I would think so

Minato didn't have kill intent on either of them, it was just a pose. Minato is faster than Raikage, Bee, and Itachi all put together.

There is no clear display of his footspeed, but he wasn't called the yellow flash based off FTG if you didn't know that.

He had flee on sight orders from everyone who was an enemy.

Minato Namikaze for instance improved the Hiraishin-no-Jutsu and was so virtuoso in it, that he was given the nickname "Yellow Flash". Many outstanding techniques were continuously refined and further developed in accordance with the era. Is the future of Kagebunshin and Rasengan now in Naruto's hands?!

And those flee on sight orders were only due to Hiraishin because the Jonin was only aware of the fact that Minato was the "Yellow Flash" after he warped behind him:

Minato received his moniker through Hiraishin. The only reason people would believe otherwise is because they're misinformed or blatantly contradict/misinterpret established statements in the manga. The evidence I presented however, cannot be misinterpreted, it's very explicit on how Minato received his alias.
