How can you say that when itachis plan fail miserably and minatos plan worked out perfectly? It's obvious who smart. And example. Itachi had his whole life to come up with this plan and it still fail. Minato made his plan for konoha and naruto within minutes of his death and everything went perfectly. End of story.

It just means Minato was more lucky than Itachi, not smarter. If Naruto died killed by Mizuki, or eaten by Orochimarus snake in the forest of death Minatos plan would also fail miserably, wouldnt it? Both were very wise, its ipossible to tell who was the smarter one of the two.

No it's not. Itachi Clearly stated that he made bad choices. So minato automatically wins. I'm not saying itachi is dumb cause he's not. He's top 5 smartest ninja in narutoverse.

Well, if Naruto was killed (and he was very close more than once) Minato could say the same about his plan. Like I said, it only means Minato was more lucky, not smarter.
