minato vs itachi conclusion

we've all been debating this for awhile if someone was guna solo itachi it would have to be minato


iv come to the most logical conslusion after studying each charcter carefully

first a list of techniques and how they might be countered

tysukuyomi /finger sensing jutsu minato does have to open his eyes
amaterasu/ftg
susanoo/ ftg
fireballs/ spacetime barrier
other genjutsu/kyuubi chakra
crow jutsu/ kunai
izanami/ sorry dude

no lets say minato on the offensive

rasengan/ yata mirror or totsaka
kunai/ kunai
ftg/ exploding clone
time space rasengan bijuuball/ yata mirror amaterasu


the fact the itachi is adept in kunai and kinjutsu really puts this in his favor

minato can open his eyes clones would be ineffective against sharingan

amaterasu would become very dangerous rendering ftg useless

i really think itachi has him beat

i say they are even and who ever wins all depends on the situation and who ever is writing the thread lol and you shouldnt include kyuubi chakra as it is only theory at the moment if he has it or if he can use it so it doesnt count until we know otherwise

also i need to add this as well itachi is not the only shinobi who is great with kunai/shuriken seeing how minatos main weapon is an ftg marked kunai i bet his ability to wield his kunai is unmatched

As a kage I'm sure Minato has tricks up his sleeve and being adept with ftg itachis exploding clones one shot techs and sharingan really knocks this out of the ball park hopefully minato shows new skills that will make thus more

itachi has only used that technique once and it never one shot any one also kakashi figured out it was a clone so minato should be able to as he can sense when its clones or not as seen in kakashis Chronicles also if minato ftgd to a marked itachi there wouldnt be enough time to counter especially if minato went for the kill and also this is under the conclusion itachi know all ftgs secrets which i doubt

alright let me point out major flaw in ur thread

you missed the summoning contract

minato is a sensor he can sense from far distance if he decides to use
ma pa for genjutsu there is no way for itachi

you guys forget minato can end up using genjutsu first

another thing sound genjutsu can't be evaded that easy

sound genjutsu > eye , fingure genjutsu

it all depends on scenario btw
so it remains hypothetical

and there are many more points
but i think it's enough

I like how you're thinking about this logically. However, let me state my points. Minato can teleport to his kunai to knock away Itachi's kunai. Plus, instead of throwing them, he can run and place them down. As for exploding clones, he can use space time barrier to defend the explosion. Yes, summons are useless.
