Obito was not 14. Kakashi was 14 and Kakashi is some 4 years younger than Obito.

Not only that, age means nothing in Naruto. Obito had the most haxxed MS technique and he still lost.

Character statements mean nothing when facts show us who was better. Are you going to say Jiraiya > Pain because Pain said so?

I think the real debate is who has faster reaction speed. And Minato is known for that specific trait. If Itachi and kisame can't keep up, then Minato wins. Emphasis on if.

@Bogard I have read your thread as well, but I don't see how it proves anything other than your interpretation. Kakashi obviously sped through ranks quickly as he was intelligent and it was a time of war after all, hence, quick promotions for deserving candidates.

Bee countered Hiraishin with a sword, making it a stalemate. Itachi is even more intelligent so can do so as well.

Minato only has Hiraishin, so fans have to wank that jutsu hard.

But Itachi has several jutsu that are as good as Hiraishin, and is more talented than Minato overall...

Minato had Obito tagged and it's fact Obito can't react to Hiraishin. He should have cut his head off, it would have taken him one second.

He decided not to because f*ck logic, Naruto would have never happened.

And he did lose. Spiral Zetsu was killed and he got whacked.
