Why don't you take your own advice and get of Hashirama ****. You don't know what both ninjas are capable of yet you compare them. Something a true fanboy would do.
And how do you figure that? one of the major point in Naruto are that the newer generation surpass the old. Hiruzen was believed to surpass his masters and Minato is near r equal to Hiruzen level. Plus you don't even know what Minato or Hashirama can fully do, what if Minato had perfect Sage mode (fused with Ma and Pa) then he wouldn't run out of chakra, what are his elements? Comparing 2 powerful ninjas with only some info on them is what fanboys do to make their favorite stronger.
So you know what both of them can fully do? Hashirama's abilities are great but the same thing happened throughout the manga, a weaker ninja beat a stronger one. Naruto at academy level beat a chunin level, Naruto as a genin beat Kabuto a jounin, Sasuke not at full power beat Danzo who was, Konohamaru a genin beat 1 of Pains body who was kage level!, and finally an example very similar, Shikamaru a chunin beat Hidan a kage level. Shikamaru shows smarts can beat power and Minato gots the smarts.
Yeah there's both Minato and Hashirama's fanboys who don't care that they don't know what either one can fully do (jusus,taijutsu and genjutsus) and just jump on Hashirama side without remembering Shikamaru (chunin) beat Hidan (kage level) with smarts and Minato has shown (along with his hype) to currently be the smartest ninja in the manga. Shikaku and Shikamaru think strategy wise while Minato was shown anayzing and strategy skills so that's what I'm comparing them too.
Someone who's smart, Don't compare those you don't fully know about.
Smarts can beat power. Ex: Shikamaru vs. Tamari, Shikamaru vs. sound ninja (chunin exam), Shikamaru vs. Hidan, Naruto clone vs. 3rd Raikage, SM Naruto+ BM Naruto vs. Bijuus 2-7, Sasuke vs. Deidara, Sasuke vs. Danzo.
Maybe, it depends on what Minato really can do and if he has the greater strategy.
Shikamaru beat Hidan who was immortal or have you forgot that? Cutting of the head would do and Minato showed to have power when he cut through most of one of Bee's tenticle. Minato is the fastest ninja (with Naruto) so hitting him won't be easy.
We don't know what Minato can really do plus you're thinking only about power and not smarts. Shikamaru vs. Hidan is the best example for this.
Do you know what Minato is fully capable of? His elements, if he has SM, jutsu? Plus the fight would be like Shikamaru vs. Hidan in how smarts would play a big part in the fight.
People who compare ninjas when they don't know all of the ninja(s) jutsus, abilities and fighting style are who killing Narutobase.
Are you dumb? Hashirama was born with the ability to control tailed beasts and without it he would likely die by Madara and Kurama's combine power. Minato didn't have to die to beat the fox but choose to seal the fox into Naruto because he was planning ahead and knew Naruto would need Kurama's power to beat Tobi. He also didn't want to disrupt the balance of power among the 5 nations. Kushina (who taught Minato the Uzumaki clan's seals) even stated Minato could have used other seals but they didn't serve the purpose to what Minato had planned. Minato is not the strongest ninja but is one of the strongest and the major reason is not his FTG but his smarts. Did you learn anything from Shikamaru vs Hidan fight?

The new generation will always surpass the previous ones.. May be that holds good with kages too.. May be Hashirama<Tobirama<Hiruzen<Minato.. we still don't know full powers of all of them.. we already know that hashirama is stronger from the beginning itself.. Don't just flatter him too much just because madara told some shit about him..
But in reality hashirama<tobirama<hiruzen<minato this is possible too..

Hard to compare I think.. Remember Hashirama doesnt have madaras power.. Madara has his power and is raping the kages.. I think some people are still thinking that hashirama is more powerful then madara is atm when really madaras alot more powerful then the 1st right now. But kabuto did say he was the strongest shinobi before madara took his cells.. The thing is how can speed be beaten? intent to kill its hard to say between these 2.

hashirama wins by far. theres a reason why people considered his power to be a fairy tale. He easily controlled all tailed beasts and beat a person with both sharingan and rinnegan (madara). People say that minato gained sealing justsus from uzumaki through hes marriage but lets not forget hashi was also married to an uzumaki. that would give us a hint that he knows the 411 of the sealing jutsus.
Minato is amazing and I think any one that can die from physical injury he has a very good chance against no matter how power full they are his parlor trick could over come it because he can close the range easy. So even the OP he has a good chance of killing.
BUT:::
Hashirama Has extreme healing so that means you would need to be one of the OP types to beat him. Minato abilities is nice but he down not have OP blast he will loose this and only piss off Hashirama.

Hashi is more powerful than Minato in Hype and feats from what we know so far.
But in a 1v1 situation idk how 1st wud win, he probably can't but with prior knowledge he shud be able to.....i think.
