i know that hashirama is "stronger" than minato but this is a "versus" discussion. In this just being "stronger" or "bigger" or having "more chakra" isn't going to cut it. here at the top hokage level battle the decisive factors are brains+technique in which minato has hashirama beat.
let's compare this way,
1. speed: minato has hashirama beat
2. chakra: hashirama has minato beat (bm minato has more chakra than sm hashirama but let's not get into that)
3. raw power/stamina: hashirama has minato beat (again bm minato>sm hashirama in this as well)
4. experience: although hashirama seems to have battled more but minato is from much modern era with a war victory on his back. he has and always will have the advantage from being a newer generation over hashirama.
5. brains: minato has hashirama beat
6. technique:
hashirama's mokuton isn't going to counter minato's hiraishin whereas hashirama only has SM sensing to react to hiraishin but even if he can sense doesn't mean he'll be able to react to minato's max speed or hiraishin. if i recall correctly it needed juubito v2 to react to hiraishin level 3. I don't think hashirama can ever survive it.
minato can easily counter all of hashirama's mokuton techniques with pure speed and hiraishin. the canon manga has confirmed that it needs a bare minimum of Juubi Jinchuriki v2 level speed/reactions to hit Minato(which hashriama doesn't have).
i'll say this that tobirama has a much better chance than hashirama when facing someone like minato.
now let me give you an example with obito.
obito battled 4 at once and that was 7th gate gai, ms kakashi, bm naruto and v2 killerbee yet all they could do was break his mask (that too only because of kakashi's kamui being able to counter obito's). the aforementioned 4 pack way much more raw power, chakra etc etc than minato yet when we saw yondaime face tobi back then he won in seconds.
naruto and sasuke is the same thing. naruto has much more power+chakra than sasuke but sasuke is able to hold his own thanks to his techniques!
kakashi and all of his battles pretty much tell us the same story, same with shikamaru. these guys win almost everything based on their brain/technique. power/chakra hardly ever are the decisive factors.
that's why although on paper it would appear that:

bm minato no restrictions beats him handily. SS is just a waste of chakra when he can jump mo=uch more chakra intensive things in base.
