This is off topic, but I admit that Minato defeated Tobi but you gotta consider some things. I highly doubt it would have ended the same if Tobi wouldn't have underestimated him. Not saying Tobi would have won, but it would have been a lot longer fight. Also, Tobi could of used some genjutsu or maybe even ninjutsu but, he was controlling Kurama with a 3 tomoe and that's my guess on why he couldn't use either. Or maybe he was just underestimating him. Can Minato beat current Tobi? No, not in my opinion. Also, Minato did something unexpected. Something Tobi didn't take into account, the knife for example. That's the only reason why he beat him. If Tobi was more prepared, he could of beaten him. Minato outsmarted him. Simple as that. Under different circumstances, it would have ended differently.

Like i've said it's what makes you a shinobi. Being able to outsmart another without he knows and that's what Minato did against Tobi. You say Tobi could have done something else if he knew but nothing proves Minato could not have countered it with something new also, so i find it always funny when people try to change scenarios cuz they always forget that the opponent could also do something different in each cases

About the genjutsu, it was said that someone with great reflexes like Raikage can't be caught in a genjutsu, so i believe it's most likely the same with Minato. So it can be the reason why Tobi didn't try it that time.

Anyway, you forget that Minato is the one who said that he can't control Kyubi for too long, that means Minato in his attack already put that into consideration, so he didn't attacked Tobi without thinking. It's what makes you a shinobi. Being able to take advantage of the situation and that's what Minato did remarkably

You forget that Minato didn't knew his secret also, worse than that, he didn't even knew a thing about his ennemy, not even his face or his identity, but he owned him without knowing in less than 1minute. Itachi knew Tobi since long years ago(more than 8years) but he couldn't do a thing to Tobi, not even capable to know his secret during 8years when Tobi knew everything about Itachi, so he outsmarted Itachi without he even knew. That's why Itachi was surprised when Naruto said he knew everything about him. It's that makes you a shinobi. Being able to outsmart another by collecting informations about him without he knows. That means Tobi was better than Itachi in it, and that makes him stronger.

Also, what made Itachi dangerous for Tobi is not only the power of his eyes, but his intellect, and his ways to introduce things, things that Sasuke is far away from and we've seen it again in this fight against Kabuto. Sasuke was still far away than Itachi in terms of battle skill even if he has a stronger dojutsu

That's how Tobi is stronger even with Sharingan only. Do you think that having MS or EMS is something that Tobi couldn't achieve? Do you think it's for nothing that he stay with his "normal sharingan" like you say? No, it's because his sharingan is the only one that has this abilities, not even EMS guarantee to someone the ability to teleport himself. His Sharingan is in some aspects even stronger than EMS

Minato is too fast for Sasuke.

I keep seeing "Sasuke can use Susano" or "Sasuke can use enton" but what people seem to forget is that Sasuke can't spam those tecs all day, in theory all minato needs to do is wait till sasuke runs out of chakra and then attack...

Minato is a genious, he even dealt with Tobi (which is stronger then Sasuke) and kurama, not to mention Bee and A so what chance does sasuke have.

And Minato can spam FTG all day? Sasuke fought at the kage summit and then defeated Danzo and fought kakashi with little to no breaks.Sasuke has feats to back his stamina. Minato is the only known user that can use FTG by himself...it requires 3 of Konoha special guards to use it most likely due to the amount of chakra required to execute it so i doubt that minato will outlast sasuke. it would make sense seeing that minato's fighting style prevents long and drawn out battles there has got to be a reason that he keeps his fights short.....

1 - Yes, the manga doesn't say otherwise.

2 - Sasuke fought the kages and almost die multiples times he had to be saved by gara's sand, zetsu that gave him chakra and then tobi...

3 - He defeated Danzo because Danzo didn't go all out since he was saving KA for Tobi. Not to meantion that karin figured danzo's secret and told Sasuke.

Also between those fights he got chakra from zetsu and Karin.
