How does Ay outlast Minato when V2 requires Bijuu level chakra? Unless his chakra reserves are larger than the Kyuubi, he isn't keeping it up for more than a minute. [ ][ ]

The fact his reserves are stated to be Bijuu-level signify that he's clearly outlasting Minato.

The fact he can draw in and perfectly balance the natural energy prove he completed the training. The duration of the mode variies depending on the amount of natural energy you're capable to draw in your body. Naruto for example was capable to draw in more than even with the oil [ ], which allowed him to maintain the mode for 5minutes at most(bar when using 2 Rasenshurikens that completely take away his sage chakra).

Minato's Sage Mode not lasting that long simply means he doesn't manage to draw a lot of the natural energy inside the body(not as much as Naruto for example that's for sure), but it still prove he completed the training. Even Jiraya who couldn't enter sage mode himself did [ ]

Just like he never tried to use senpou rasengan despite having already marked Obito? Just like he didn't try to use clones? Just like he didn't use rasen senkou chourinbu kousanshiki despite saying in the war it's his marked jutsu? So once again, a character not using a move at one point doesn't prove he can't

Minato himself stated he can't hold it so well. Naturally, his first thought should be to do what Jiraiya did and call help. He didn't. Unless, like several fanboys think, Minato was going easy on Obito.

It does if it's the last fight before they die. Rasen-featless-fanwank is designed to create an opening, not be a finisher, not to mention Obito couldn't go intangible when he decided to use it. When Sage mode is meant to amplify all stats, and Minato vs Obito was meant to be determined by speed, I fail to see any excuse for him not to use it.

Jiraya didn't summon Pa and Ma when he lost to Hanzo, so that means he can't? Naruto didn't summon Pa and Ma against Jubito, that must mean he can't? Minato was stilll analyzing Obito during the fight. You show your moves depending on the opponent. Obito didn't use Izanagi either. I don't know what is hard for you to grasp here. If it the end, it was enough without SM, what can i tell?

And no it was designed to kill Jubito at first [ ]. It changed to opening probably because Minato noticed it wouldn't have been strong enough to kill him

Just noting that Jiraiya didn't have SM at that time, Tsunade didn't have Byakagou, and Orochimaru didn't have that weird shit going on with his body.

The fail logic that people still believe that you must show your opponent your entire arsenal in a battle -__- Really?

I think people don't realise this is Naruto and not DBZ, strategy plays a huge part. You don't show your opponent all your moves and give them the intel on you possible. There are things in Naruto known as "trump cards" aka last resorts. You use them if you don't think you can defeat your opponent or if your opponent is too powerful to defeat by any normal means.

Minato not using sm against Obito was the correct call, would've wasted time and Kurama would've destroyed Hiruzen and the village if minato was 1 second late. Unless killer bee cut off his marked tentacle then he would've been soloed (if minato actually had killing intent). Ay pretty much implies that he cannot defeat minato.

and what does that mean??

EXAMPLE:
shinobi A has 1.000 points of chakra capacity but is constantly using 100 points
and shinobi B has 400 points of chakra capacity but uses only 5 points at a time

who outlasts who??

Raikage needs lightning armor V2 if he wants to land a hit on Minato, and even then there is no guarantee he can land that said hit.

and I think it is safe to assume that using FTG consumes far less chakra than using LA V2... so, even though Raikage has higher stamina, it doesn't necessarily mean he will last longer, since he will be burning more chakra and faster.

What? V2 doesn't require Bijuu level chakra, it spikes his chakra to Bijuu levels. Massive difference. We've never once seen Ay exhausted after using V2, and it's because it's not a chakra-taxing technique.

Wasn't Bee a kid as we'll back then? It's been over sixteen years since they fought.
It looked as if he'd just hit puberty. He used to stiffen up at the name of Minato and now he has no problem fighting Madara and the Juubi.

how it's not a chakra taxing technique if it spikes his chakra to such high levels!?!?
increases defenses, attack, speed and senses... it's constantly burning chakra...
he can keep it for long because he does have high stamina...

It means Ay outlasts him. His dad fought for three days straight, and his son has Bijuu level reserves. Minato doesn't have a fraction of that.

ahh, I was too quick to reply, you added more, my bad
now is moar cereral than it was hehe

his dad was a beast indeed, but I don't even think h had LA V2 (I might be missing something here).
the difference between the 3rd and 4rd... the 3rd had super durability, his body was very durable even without lightning release, he could even use that teleport without LA.
while the 4rd it's not as durable, but he is faster than his dad.

Minato may not have as much chakra, but he does have high chakra, otherwise he wouldn't even be able to learn SM, or teleprt a full Kurama + TBB, + his wife around, + all he did that night when he died.
and for Minato FTG doesn't seem to consume that much chakra... if he's only teleporting himself.

Fourth Raikage durability > Third's. Fourth Raikage reserves > Third's. Minato can't harm Ay, he can't blitz him, he can't outlast him. He loses.

well, Kishi puts Minato above... Raikage himself says Minato is superior.
we haven't seen that tech Minato was going to use on Jin Obito, which was definitely stronger than his normal rasengan (by what he said).

but anyway, we never saw that tech, so we can't really use it, and portrayal here doesn't matter...
and SM well, guess we can't use it either xD

I personally think they'd draw, because I don't see them killing each other.... Minato because he can't get passed Raikage's defense (with what he has shown so far, in base). and Raikage because he can't really land a hit on Minato.

to make things harder on Raikage, Minato could very well use a clone... Raikage wouldn''t be able to tell the difference, and if he already has a hard time catching 1, 2 would be a nightmare for him. also Minato can switch places with the clone, incase he gets in a tight spot.

so, yeah... for me it's a draw.

That doesn't really matter when his reserves are diminishing at a fast rate because of V2.

I don't quite see the difference. Doesn't spiking his chakra to that level essentially mean he's using chakra at that level or did I miss something?

We've also never seen Ay hold up a V2 armor for more than like minute, probably because it's a chakra-taxing technique.

It doesn't say that his reserves diminish at a fast rate. It says he has Bijuu-level chakra reserves. If his reserves diminished at a Bijuu level, as you misinterpreted, it would mean Ay has multi-Bijuu chakra levels, quite obviously not the case.
