minato vs 3rd hokage

Third by hype, but i havent seen anything special from him. Oonoki is 10 years older and still makes more powerful moves / jutsus. Third has counter for elemental jutsus, but there aint counter for speed, FTG and sealing. Ill say draw.

killer bee simply countered minatos ftg attack... and killer bee isnt even a genius.... with hiruzens 1000+ jutsu arsenal, enma, young body etc, he'll pull it off like his hype suggests


what types of jutsu enma can use(if he can, i mean frogs have hands and they could, enma is monkey/humanish , he should have), we know nothing..

Prime Hiruzen we know nothing about. Though personally I don't see how he could beat Minato in a ninjutsu/taijutsu fight.

Genjutsu would be his only real option and we haven't seen any feats from either of them on that count.

In a ninjutsu & taijutsu fight though I would give it to Minato.

He is far faster than Hiruzen, and can dodge any attacks coming at him fairly easily.

Minato has multiple summons that are all pretty much better than Enma. (Gamabunta, Gamahiro, Gamaken, Ma and Pa).

Minato is the best at sealing jutsu ever, because he learned everything that Kushina knew and then invented his own also.

I just don't see Hiruzen being able to counter FTG well enough to win, as there are very few who have powerful enough attacks, or enough speed to try and do so.

sorry just have to add my 2 cents but correct me if im wrong but if minato wanted to he could of slit killer bees throat in a instant, wasnt he just trying to see what a jinchurriki can do? to me it seemed like he was a good guy and was not trying to kill anybody in that battle

true story and i agree 100%. itachi would be a tough match up and kishi hasnt shown anything too show minato can counter his ms. besides his genius.... so untill than i say itachi> minato...even though i truely, in the bottom my heart of but came to realization, hate to admit it..im a minato fanboy on the down lowww xd haha

Minato wins. The 3rd cant catch minato if the 4ths always using the FTG tech. minatos sealing jutsus and FTG are what helped save the hidden leave village. The 3rd did ok but never came close to stoping kurama like minato did.

Your joking right? Hiruzen was an old man, what did you expect him to do against kurama? He retired and minato was the new hokage...

Is it actually stated in the manga that minato is the best at seaking jutsu?

This is a really stupid match-up. How can you determine a victor when we haven't seen a prime hiruzen?

Minato's feats>Hiruzen's feats.

Hiruzen's hype>minato's hype because of what is stated in the manga (most powerful hokage, god of shinobi, professor, greatest kage of his generation, bla bla bla). He also apparently has a counter for every jutsu in konoha, which someone said is written in the databook. Unfortunately, I cannot find hiruzen's databook entry and therefore dont know whether this is true. If it is infact true, then I say hiruzen wins. He probably knows more about minato than minto knows about him and would therefore probably be familier with his techniques, and thus be able to counter them.

Oh well who knows!
