Bee says he observed the Tailed Beast Bomb, so he actually used to see it while training to perform a similar jutsu(rasengan), he didn't read it in a book, he saw it

Hmm nice point. I totally forgot this. This further shows that it happened long before even Kakashi Gaiden. Maybe Minato was something like 15-16 when he created it XD

Yes. That's if we consider Kakashi creating chidori in a span of a year. If it took him more than a year then we can assume that Minato created rasengan when Kakashi was 8-10 yrs old. I don't think that Minato created rasengan because he was able to read a book. He did some sparring with Kurama, I guess...:)

Isn't it possible for Kushina to lose control and go fourtails or something? He might've just calmed a few enraged Kushina.

Hmm but it would also mean that he observed the Tailed Beast bomb before creating it, right? Then it would mean that around 13-15 Minato was fighting Kyubi? Hmm

Yes..:) he can't create it without observing it. As being said, Minato can deduce the mechanics of a technique with just one look. That's one example to his great skill.

possible indeed. Kushina loosing control of kurama means Minato was able to see Kurama in real form.

Cuz if that's true, minato might've not fought a full Kurama (9tails>Minato), but a partial kurama. It also would explain why he created such a powerful shield technique, as he needed something to protect himself from his wife. XD

Possible. The point is, rasengan was made after seeing a TBB. In that case, full kurama or not makes no difference. The thing that we can get though this is how he uses his ability to deduce a technique by seeing it once. :whip:

I'm sorry if I offended you in anyway

But what you mean sir?
Simple. Manga says he never intended to beat Kyubi to begin with, but use his power to save the world by sealing his yang chakra in his child instead

Well I guess that could mean defeat, but I was talking about how Minato didn't beat Kyuubi down

I don't think Kishi had all of this thought through.

I think Minato dealed with a rampaging Kyuubi a few times, maybe Kushina couldn't control the beast and it would get out of control like with what happened with Gaara and the Ichibi.
Either that or it's possible that Minato might have had to take on a bijuu from another village during a war but that's less probable.

He may have fought a tailed beast a couple time to observe the TBB because he ain't a Uchiha to see it once and get it perfectly

Either that or he witnessed Killer Bee use it during his encounters with A? Another rampaging Kyubi moment has not been described that would fit Minato's timeline.

This ^^ I'm going with what he said.... :D :D

That wouldn't make sense. Kakashi created the chidori cus he couldn't mix his raiton with rasengan. meaning minato made rasengan before the events of kakashi gaiden.

if minato was evil he can kill the kyubi he would just redirect kyubiis own attack to him or teleport the kyubii to the other village let them weaken the kyubi lol. hashirama didnt beat the kyubi he tamed it.

Other jinchurikis you say? It's another possibilty, but like i've said, only Bee and Yagura were known as perfect Jinchurikis. So even if what you say is true, it could only have happened if it was in a situation where we saw a Tailed Beast rampaging.

? Two tails was also not a perfect jinchuriki and yet could utilize her tailed beast to an extent that she could enter the bijuu mode and most definitely use the tailed beast bomb.... Bijuu's were used as weapons of war, don't forget about sunagakure and shukaku, it was specifically stated they used it as a tool..... with this in mind, why is this thread being argued around a premise that Bee and Naruto were the only Jinks he could possibly see the bombs from? Minato was in the fourth great ninja war... there would have been a host for the majority of the bijuu's , he my even have met Yagura on the battlefield...

It was stressed that Kushina's special chakra made her a almost perfect host for the Kyuubi, I cannot imagine the kyuubi rampaging out of Mito or her, not when they had it locked down so tightly with their chakra
