Minato teaches Tobirama fire?

Well, Katon's weakness is Suiton as it is a fact of nature that water puts out fire. More specifically, it absorbs and dissipates the thermal energy caused by fire's combustion.
Katon's strong against Fuuton, namely because the Katon absorbs the oxygen in Fuuton, in turn, making the Katon bigger and stronger.
It's users? Itachi, Sasuke, Kakuzu, Asuma, Hiruzen, Jiraiya, Sasori [scrolls], Madara, etc. The Sarutobi clan and the Uchiha clan specialize in Katon as it is their affinity.
Some KKG's of Katon are Futton [Boil release | Suiton + Katon], Yoton [Lava release | Doton + Katon], and Enton [Katon + chakra control].
Katon is a deadly element, as it is used for a wide variety of things. It can burn opponents, ignite flammable jutsu or objects, and even set you up for bigger attacks such as Kirin.

Describe how to do it: Tobirama takes his stance; hands by his sides, feet normal, standing in his pimp daddy, blue fur collard jacket. As he is standing there with all that swag, Tobirama starts kneading Katon chakra inside him. As he gathers this chakra, Tobirama feels energetic, hard to control, and gittery, most likely due to the chakra as this is not his normal personality. As he gathers the Katon chakra in his chest, his chest starts expanding at a huge rate. When Tobirama feels like he gathered enough Katon chakra, he quits gathering it as he makes a ring with his pointer finger and thumb. As he does this, he starts blowing out Katon chakra, while using chakra and shape manipulation to create a condensed stream of Katon.
How many hand seals does it have: None, unless you would count making the ring with your thumb and pointer finger.
Advantages: Very basic, simple attack. Not hard to use, many combos are used with this technique, and I personally like linear attacks or stream like attacks. No hand seals, very quick.
Disadvantages: Almost too basic, as it is very easy to counter. No devastating damage, not really a huge area of effect. Almost any Suiton drowns it, and easily counterable.
Combos and possible uses: This can be used in conjunction with Gamabunta's Oil attacks, creating a huge flame-oil combination big enough to sear a summon the size of Manda. Could be used too hide a Raiton, since Raiton passes through Katon.
How to defend against it: Basically almost any Suiton. Make your opponent lose their balance while they are gathering chakra. Throw a smoke bomb and ruin their vision, while creating Bunshin's.

Good, although the detail is fine, please add specific technique names you would use to counter and combo with, and explain why in slightly better detail.
Other than that it's perfect information, just like it to be a tad more detailed on those points.
On to the next technique then.

Describe how to do it: Tobirama gets in a stance where he stands with great poise, and starts gathering some Katon chakra. While gathering his Katon chakra in his gut, he performs the Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger hand seals. After he has performed those hand seals and stopped gathering the Katon chakra, he starts making the chakra flow up his throat, and spews it out of his mouth. Using his chakra manipulation, he compresses the Katon, and by using shape manipulation, he turns the Katon into a huge sphere.
How many hand seals does it have: Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger. Which by my count, is 6.
Advantages: This could block your opponents line of sight. Very basic attack. If your affinity or specialty was Katon, this technique would be great, but since it is neither for me, the hand seals would take forever.
Disadvantages: The hand seals are horrific. 6 hand seals, for a C-rank Katon that is just a ball of Katon. Plus it is easily countered with a wide variety of jutsu, not too mention that it blocks your line of sight on your opponent.
Combos and possible uses: This technique could be used with (Suiton: Seibun Hōfutsu) - Water Style: Water Heavens Convergence and Chakra Sensing. Before using any technique, one must already be sensing, or use the sensing as your first move. Then I would use the Katon technique if I was in mid range. After spewing out the Katon, effectively blocking my opponents line of sight and mine but I still know their where abouts due to sensing, I would use the Heavens Convergence jutsu. I would create the body of water behind my opponent and by using shape manipulation I would create spikes of water that would penetrate him from behind as he is fried from the front.
How to defend against it: Simple really. Heaven's Convergence would be enough to douse it. Kakashi Hatake used (Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique too some effect when fighting Itachi. So I think this could be used as well.

Good much better with the specific moves involved.
Although it's hardly a great sphere, more like a small weak fireball compared to current manga standards.

Describe how to do it: I take my lighter out of my ninja pouch as Tobirama is a frequent smoker, and light it as I throw it out in front of me. I then focus my Katon chakra on the flame combusting from the lighter and use shape manipulation to form a wall of flames around me.
How many hand seals does it have: None. Lol
Advantages: I guess an advantage would be that you can block a Suiton no Jutsu. Your opponent would lose sight of you so you could go underground and attack from below.
Disadvantages: You cannot attack with it, if the flames are blown on you, you get burnt. It is really weak, and blocks your line of sight.
Combos and possible uses: There are no combos for this jutsu, and the only use I could think of is defending against a Suiton no Jutsu. I actually think this is the worst Katon. But since your opponent loses sight of you as well, you can use Hiding like a Mole jutsu and pop up behind.
How to defend against it: Well, this attack is not really an offensive type jutsu, but if necessary you can use a simple Suiton no Jutsu to douse the flames. You could even create an earth dome around the flames and the user, cooking them.
