Oh, please! Kishimoto made Sasuke have an important role in the series. Sasuke is Naruto's rival who has always been a genius and a step above Naruto in everything. Stop twisting the facts about plot protecting Sasuke. We could of said the same for Naruto vs Gaara being pure plot. Still the match was in Sasuke's favor. Not only did he obtain better Sharingan prediction in that fight by unlocking the third tomoe. Sasuke also had the Curse Mark lv2. The match was in Sasuke's control for most of the time. The match started to go on Naruto's favor when he started using the Kyuubi against Sasuke. Base Sasuke was toying with Naruto for the most part. Also stop sounding so immature. Naruto has never fodderized anyone especially Sasuke. The Final Valley was close and perhaps Kishimoto could of made Sasuke the loser, but in the end that shows that Sasuke's resolve was bigger. The match was close only difference was the final Chidori vs Rasengan where Sasuke manage to land a hit on Naruto's stomach. You should know that Naruto's arms was becoming weak already. Who knows if his arm wasn't weak. Perhaps Naruto would of delivered the finishing the blow to Sasuke. Still Naruto lost and there's nothing you can say to overturn that outcome.

Stop kidding yourself. It was all plot based. Without Sasuke winning, there would be absolutely no transition into part 2. The angrier Naruto got at Sasuke the more he could tap in to Kurama. He only went into one tail. The moment he goes into two tails Sasuke gets stomped.

Like any other fight hasn't been plot based... Who cares about how angrier Naruto got towards Sasuke. There's no indication that Naruto would of reached 2 tails or over in that fight. Even if Naruto went two tails against Sasuke would it even be an impressive victory? Consider the facts that Base Sasuke was owning Base Naruto left and right. Sasuke even manage to pierce Naruto with the Chidori as well. I also don't need a lecture from you. I know that Sasuke needed to defect completely from Konoha in order to have a Part II. Well it didn't even matter because if Sasuke was taken back to Konoha. The Akatsuki would later on come to the story in order to steal Kurama. Sasuke's win is a legit one. Get over yourself.
