Minato sage mode

I thought I heard Kakashi say that somewhere. Something about him having low chakra reserves like his master. It would make sense. He ran out of chakra in like 3 minutes between Tobi and the Kyuubi.

I too think minato didn't have too much chakra. (still more than kakashi though)
but if he had SM, he would've summoned the elders while putting on the "4th hokage" robe (when he teleported kushina to baby naruto). that was the perfect time for it

That picture implies Minato had a ton of chakra, just not enough to train the way Naruto was at the time, that is with several hundred Shadow Clones. Which is why Kakashi said "Even Yondaime couldn't train this way"...
Just the fact that he could summon Toads makes it likely that he could use SM to some extent.

Fukasaku said that only people with huge chakra reservoirs could attain Sage Mode.I doubt Minato could have done it.

He was able to summon Gamabunta. And Tsunade said that you need to have great charkra to be able to summon great summons.

Yeah, I think he was able to.
He just never really needed it and can't do it during battle. Also he was pretty young so he I suggest he hasn't mastered it. Deffinetly could use it to some degree.

I'm not saying he has low chakra levels. I'm saying that he doesn't have chakra pool. like kisame, raikages or naruto. but as I said if he had SM he could've used it against tobi and kyuubi. what better time is there for SM?
