No, he could see everything Naruto sees because there was Minato's chakra left in him. During the Pain fight, Minato used that chakra to talk to Naruto, so he can't see what Naruto is seeing after that battle.

Wasn't it obvious? The enemies were closing in and they wanted her alive to extract intel from her. Kakashi did the same thing Kisame did and killed his comrade to stop the enemy from gaining any intel.

wow! that's almost genius. I never thought about that. You could very well be right because after his fathers death he was all about following the ninja rule book exactly. He wouldn't be able to save Rin in that situation so the easiest way out would be to kill her and then escape soon after.
