Honestly how could any of you know for sure? We still haven't seen what he is really capable of. I like Minato too but I'm sure Orochimaru could give him a run for his money. He even took on 4 tails Naruto even though his jutsu was sealed. He probably knows way more jutsu than anyone gives him credit for. Not to mention that it takes a lot to actually kill him. Now since he knows about the Shiki Fujin he won't so easily be caught by it.

I'm not sure about equal but damn close IMO.

Minato is one of my favorite characters but we really can't compare him to anybody until he learn more about his abilities. Minato is pretty powerful and intelligent from what we have seen though.
