Minato not caring about Naruto is a bad writing

what do you expect minato to do when he has no chakra and only 1 arm and his son is held by a branch he cant use a jutsu to free naruto b'cause no chakra and by the time he is done chopping the branch with his kunai naruto is already dead, plz tell me what you think minato should've done

This^ I agree to an extent that it did look bad on minato's part to not put in more effort to save naruto but he also knew there wasn't much he could do at that point plus he only has one arm so one he can't pull naruto out and he can't defend himself well if the tree starts attacking while he is saving naruto he was being logical though I believe without a doubt that he was worried sick about Naruto
