Minato not caring about Naruto is a bad writing

Practically everyone on the base know how i like Minato and all, but things need to be say. This panel was a particular bad writing on Minato here to say the least

You have a son in danger and you know he is in danger, but you don't even try to go and save him? Especially when we see on the same pic Tobirama going on his on before you after using suiton ninjutsu, asking you why you don't use Hiraishin and go on his own, and you, the father is just staying there still without taking actions? Ok let's leave the ninjutsu part since without an arm and without chakra, you can't use ninjutsu, but you are still on your feet. So how can't you try the best you can to go and save your son in this particular situation?

Dunno if Kishi really knows how bad not only as a character but as a father, he made Minato look here, but this was clearly a bad writing on his part. Or maybe it's Kushina the one who was right in the end. He just have a flacky personality O_O

Huh? The branches was covering Naruto already. It's impossible to use Hiraishin to get him out since Naruto had no markings and the branches closed all openings. You can even see him reaching out. You also realize that the branches drained his chakra since its linked to his network.

Manga has character inconcistencies more than one time...it happens to other characters aswell.

Sakura is the prime example. Once; you see her being epic, no holding back and fighting an Akatsuki member next you see her being kicked right through to chest by Cloud fodder. Her every up is followed by a down.

Or Gai. In part 1 he was crying because one of his students get crippled, 3 years over it; one of his students died and he just happens to say "man the **** up" to other one.

Not to mention no one in k11 reacting to 4th hokage being Naruto's father; or no one in the allience finding their dead ancestors from the past getting revieved and fighting.

Thank you, I was wondering when someone was going to get it. It is Minato's FTG Mark that is out of chakra. Minato's chakra has to act as a medium to teleport. Since there's none of his chakra on Naruto, he can't teleport to him.

Dunno what you mean by this, but it's beside the point. Whether it's him or his kunai who had no chakra left isn't the point. The point is despite being on his feet, he didn't even try to go and save his son when another(Tobirama) actually tried all he could on the same panel
