Minato loved Kushina more than Naruto and the Village

Hey let's face it!! And I'm not saying he didn't love Naruto and the Village, but for example Let's say Minato loves Naruto ... I'd say 50% of that love is direct to Naruto, other 50% is because he knows how much Kushina loves Naruto.

First let's start off with the fact that Minato gave his own life just so that Kushina could put SOME of her chakra into Naruto.. Now yes, it was also to seal the beast, but Kushina could've used her remaining chakra for that task...

Second and this may just be an accident I don't know, but I like to think so... Minato is closer to baby Naruto then Kushina right before the Nine Tails trys to kill him... AND YET when they're impaled.. Minato is behind Kushina.... maybe because his first priority was to protect her, on instinct then Naruto??!?!?!

Anybody else ever pick up on this vibe? not saying he is a bad father in fact I think the exact opposite, just that his love for Kushina was SOOOO great!!

Anyway just a little theory I came up with, any opinions/ disagreements/ agreements????

He loved them equally! He put her chakara in so she can see older Naruto and help deafeat the nine tails. Second he was trying to protect Naruto but Kushina moved to protect Naruto at the same time thats while they were both impaled. Thats why Minato said that this was his duty as the father when they were struck by the nine tails claw nail.

Kushina was planning on the sealing the Kyuubi inside of herself and then dying with it. However, the Kyuubi would eventually reform and Minato didn't want another village to take control of the nintails- this would've left Konoha in a weak political position. That's why he was so determined to make Naruto the jinchiriki, so that Konoha would remain a powerful village. Putting Kushina's chakra in with Naruto was just so she could help him out with battling the nine tails when he eventually wanted to control it, but also so that she could see her grown up son. Same reason he put his chakra in there aswell. So they were equally loved.

Minato gave his life to seal the Kyuubi into Naruto. Why? Because he knew the "masked man" would be back and without a great power like the Kyuubi's chakra, no one would be able to stand against him.

He decided to make his son the next Jinchuuriki because he believed he would grow up to be a hero - he believed in his son and had faith in him because he loved him.

Kushina could have sealed the Kyuubi into herself and died with it, but that would be throwing away the only possibility they would have at defeating the "masked man".

Minato sealed the last remaining portion of his chakra and Kushina's chakra into Naruto to help him when the time came...because they loved him. This way they'd both be able to see him again.




No matter how you try to rationalize it, they had no choice but to seal the Kyuubi in Naruto. They both made Naruto the hero he is now. Parents love and believe in their child/children. Minato and Kushina both loved their son immensely. To say Minato loved either of them more is a stupid statement.
