Yeah...sorry my bad...
About this scan, Obito didn't know he was marked so he didn't think Minato could land another hit on him, this doesn't have anything to do with plot...Minato warped directly on his body & impaled him so fast that he couldn't reactivate his Kamui.

The thing is, nothing suggest he reactivated Kamui's intangibility. Obito was surprised to even get hit by the rasengan, and even more surprised have been marked by Minato. He just never been in that situation since getting MS. You got to remember he was still a teen by that age.

Fair enough.

The eye unconsciously turns on Intangibility when it would have it in its line-of-sight. Minato attacked from behind. Now unless he has his eyes on the back of his head, then this proved nothing. Not to mention both Minato and Kakashi state that Kamui is a much more superior S/T technique compared to FTG.

So no, I don't agree.

Im guessing its based on obito's composure

It seems mainly automatic but he can decide to turn it off.

When he tried capturing minato, he turns it off right when he passes through him. Thus getting hit by the rasengan when he FTG-ed

Kamui>Minato
Ftg=Kamui
Minato's reaction speed>Kid Obito's

Slipping through dimensions is immediate, and the only way to catch something that is instant is by moving instantaneous yourself.

Minato activated ftg before Obito could use kamui:

Intangibility is not passive or automatic. As already it is known, intangibility and transporting things in and out are is same dojutsu - Kamui, unless you want to tell us, that sucking in and out objects is also unconscious and Obito just accidentally sucks people in other dimension and accidentally releases weapons he stored there.

We have another denying facts :lmao:

It's called being blitzed
Fair enough.
There's nothing to suggest he deactivated kamui. He didn't even activate his absorption. When he was hit the second time he was not trying to absorb anything. Intangibility is off when he's trying to touch or absorb things.

You do know that many people have tried to attack Obito from behind. A reference would be in his fight against Mist ninja. But Kishimoto stated oh yeah who cares what kishimoto thinks lol

Obviously, but not that Minato is faster then intangibility as intangibility is instant. Again he clearly deactivated intangibility in order to grab minato, and Minato followed up immediately after the rasengan landed. Minato didn't give Obito enough time to access the situation. Obito has to actually have kamui's intangibility on for it to be automatic. It isn't impossible to catch him off guard. Itachi hit Obito with Amateratsu and it didn't automatically go cancel until after he activated kamui.

What you don't realize is that Minato does not move instantaneously, FTG is instant but any movement after is not, thus Kamui will still work if intangibility is on.

Another pitiful kamui wank thread.

Your way of thinking is:

"Only Base Minato took down Obito, therefore only Minato can take down Obito."

This logic is retarded to say the least. In reality, a bunch of people take a dump on him.

I made this thread because well you guys know why. Someone made a comment that grinded my gears forcing to me to make this thread and spread these contagious facts that rustle fanboys.

Maybe because it is automatic

Page 242

Ninjutsu, Kekkei Genkai - Kamui
No rank, all ranges, offensive, defensive
Users: Obito Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake

The godly eyes that conquer fate's horizon!! [TN: Epic sentence is epic.]

Coercing into another dimension!!

A dojutsu that transfers objects into the dimension created with the "Mangekyo Sharingan". In proportion to the amount of chakra the user holds, the possibly transferable mass of the target is increased or decreased. A skilled user can also transfer his own body. Furthermore, there's a subtle difference in the powers of the left and right eyes. The left eye hurls distant objects into the dimension by fixating them, the right eye unconsciously makes a body part slip-through by transfering it. Additionally, by having both eyes, "Susanoo" appears and it is possible to apply Kamui's powers to its weapons.

⬆➡ Objects are transfered immediately into the dimension. The distance of the right eye's effect is short. The ability to make the body "slip-through" is the ability of Obito's own right eye.

Since people love to deny facts here is more facts Manga facts at that. Kamui intangibility is automatic/unconscious

”!!?” (Volume 53, Chapter 503)
Displaying astonishing skillfulness with “Hiraishin no jutsu”!!
Overwhelming the Masked Man that is the mastermind behind the Kyuubi Incident!!

A handsome man shining with natural-borne talent, like a blinding glint (purple lightning), time and space itself seem to stand still—.
Minato handles to perfection the “Hiraishin no jutsu” space-time ninjutsu that was invented by Nidaime Hokage Senju Tobirama, and learnt from Master Jiraiya the pride of being a ninja.
His achievements began 27 years ago with the “Jinchuuriki kidnapping prevention” in Kirigakure; during the 3rd Great Ninja War, he led inferior Konoha camps to victory for times too numerous to mention.
Praised among all ninja as the greatest in god-like speed, the honour of that valour fascinates even the elites of other villages.

"Time and Space seem to stand still" stated twice. Minato just has that particular quality after all he blitzed auto kamui's intangbility.

Fanboys will deny :lmao:

Who is denying facts them exactly? Kamui is jutsu made by 2 powers - intangibility and transportation, which is all one. So you want to tell me Obito was using it to transport objects and people like Sasuke, Danzo's ANBU and others by unconsciousness?
