So far in the manga itachi made few horrible mistakes that a guy with intellect wouldn't do it

1: killed babies
2:killed old men
3: didn't tell sasuke about his true mission untill it's already over
4: if we skipped the part of killing every body, why would he kill his mother? I mean he won't do any thing even of the civil war started

Minato in the manya he didn't do so far a mistake that would effect the full next generation.

Who cares about Tobi's identity there is no way to find out his identity without breaking that mask of his face of course they both failed, but I give this to Itachi, Minato wasn't even intelligent IMO dude hasn't shown anything impressive.

You do realize if Minato switched with itachi's place in akatsuki, he'd still think tobi is Madara over the years right? He's never actually seen or spoken to the real madara, But THE ACTIONS of tobi follow with what Madara would be doing.. that's how Itachi and Minato came to that conclusion... even though both of them have never lived in that time.... Tobi apparently simulates Madara's image almost perfectly.. working around him or seeing him a few times for a few meetings would not change that he thinks like Madara....

And it was a very reasonable post. I said making two people believe in one thing isnt that hard, especially when you have proof to back it up. Even if you lie, it's still "proof"

I can go to a professor, who doesnt know who I am, and tell them I am in an honor society, and theyll probably believe me.
I can go to a bum on the streets, who doesnt know who I am, and tell him the same thing. He'll most likely believe me too.

What I'm saying is that you cant say two people have the same intelligence because they got fooled into thinking the same thing.

And btw, Minato never was fully convinced Tobi was Madara. He just didn't doubt it.
