Minato, Itach or Jiraiya? Konoha's Greatest sacrifices.

Itachi for me. The other two were considered heroes and didn't have to kill their entire clan

Naruto, even if it wasn't his choice. Sacrificed a normal childhood and his parents for the sake of his village (just so I don't choose Minato).

Uchiha Itachi
-this guy lost everything for the sake of his village at the age of 13, he exchange all the things that made a value in the Shinobi' world for the sake of other people, lived in disgraces, criminal life, dishonor all his life to such extend that he took the blame for the uchiha masacress out linking his beloved country of that incident.

-after all that happened, after losing so much for his country, he kept protecting it from the shadows of those whom wanted to destroy it
-Even after death he kept caring about his country and his first action was to stop Edo-Tensei to save them all.

Itachi is the greatest hero and more complex that Konoha had birth.

what makes a hero is not just pointing the bad guy and deal with it, is how much that hero is willing to sacrified for the sake of others. even his own life and honor. he was not a 'Fairy Tail Hero, where it ways saves the day and without losing anything''

Sarutobi Hiruzen
-The old hokage was a great hero that care for his village, above all and believe that someone will inherit his will, even at that such advances age he was willing to protect his village out of everything.

I'm gonna say Itachi, his sacrifice ruined his entire life, he was labelled as a criminal and he had to kill his own family.

In terms of the 'most useful' i'd say all are about equal. If those 3 didn't do what they did then the village would have been destroyed 3 times over already.(Minato defeating Obito and sealing Kurama, Itachi massacring his whole clan to prevent a coup, Jiraiya sending intel on Pain)

But in terms of most suffering/sacrifice? That's a no-brainer. Itachi, of course.

1. Minato- He's sacafrice help save kohona from an rampaging tailed beast and a heart broken angry man named obito
2. Itachi- Without him kohona would be destoryed aswell. since the whole uchiha incident didnt happen till after the 9 tail attack. I presume. if not then Itachi as number 1.
3. J-man He did something impactful as well by giving knowledge on pain he saved kohana a 3rd time. (maybe 100th time) (kohona is always in danger lol even if noone is attacking)

Jiraiya saved the village from Pain, I'd say his was the most benificial.

Minato didn't have to kill himself, lol. He could've just sealed the full Kyuubi in Naruto instead of using the RDS on it. If you include fight Obito in his "sacrifice" then I'd say he saved the village, but then again... Hiruzen and his squad were there...

Let me set the record clear for you idiots. Jiraiya's sacrifice was the most important. Itachi, he killed every one of his family members except one for the sake of the village. Yet, it helped Danzo attain all of the Sharingans he had making him a bad person. Through all the killing Itachi did, he let Sasuke live which has made Sasuke into the cold killer he is now attacking villages and their Kages.

Minato, he has done more than Itachi, but he fought Obito and didn't defeat him even though he could have. Instead, Minato kills himself and his wife and seals not the whole Nine-Tails power, but half of it into Naruto.

Now Jiraiya, he knew the possible outcome of his actions, but he knew how beneficial it would have been for the world. His sacrifice was the most meaningful. He fought the Six Paths of Pein head on and won intel on them. That led the villagers to be prepared for his attack and for Naruto to defeat him. It also led Naruto to Nagato's hiding spot which allowed Naruto to talk to Nagato and convince him to be good. That saved everyone's life in the village. You're welcome.

jiraiya got information about pain but did not complete his task ,itachi stopped edo tense expect from madara and killed his clan expect sasuke but MINATO defected the 9 tail and stopped further destroy of the village.

How do you determine which sacrifice was greater? If you're going on what the out come would of been if they never sacrificed would be then i would have to say Minato purely because he saved the world essentially because if he never sealed it away, then tobi would already of had the 9 tails making his life easier and his plan would have already been underway year's and years earlier it took him to achieve it within naruto.

However, that doesn't mean to say that Itachi & Jiraiya's sacrifice wasn't at important or as meaning full, it just means that they all had to do what was best for the Village despite the Circumstances.

This is not to compare who lost the most people its who sacrifice was the most benefical..

It had to be minato he sacrificed his life and in turn he saved the world giving naruto the power he needed to win against the greatest evils

Itachis sacrifice was noble but it also kinda failed since sasuke became crazy and he ended up having to put his trust in naruto..minatos son

Jiraya sacrifice was even more noble since he could of chose to live to fight another day but instead sacrificed himself to give the village intel to stop pain...who naruto eventually had to defeat...minatos son

Danzo is not a bad person just does bad things for the greater good(he is a **** head)...jiraya got them intel but pain still destroyed the village(litarally)...naruto defeated pain yes with jirayas intel but he was not done yet he had change nagatos heart and in turn saved many lives that had been lost..That is minatos son just so you know he gave his life so naruto can be powerful

minato's decision to give kyuubi power to naruto was the best decision.

made his name terrible and lived lonely from age 13
stopped danzo from taking over the village and killing sasuke
stopped edosaved naruto 2x (kisame, and pain)
gave up the ability to be living with unlimited chakra when he stopped edo
gave sasuke his eyes

Itachi, the guy had to kill his family.
This guy prevented a war and saved the lives of not just people in Konoha, but of others in other villages I don't know why people are stating that the minato or jiraiya did more than him when a war obviously causes more deaths than Peins or kyuubi.
