Minato is weak...er.

Listen here, this is not, I repeat not, a Minato hate thread.....I literally couldn't think of another name for it.


People are going on about Minato finally being hit, yes that is awesome, but this is about something even more important that people may have missed.

On every single panel Minato has been shown fighting in this chapter, he has been using a single hand sign including this page, where it even shows the hand sign and says Hiraishin no jutsu.

Now what does this say about FTG imo?
That FTG requires handseals.

Don't get me wrong, FTG and Minato are still seriously haxxed, but if one could analyse and take advantage of FTG's two small weakness' (handsigns and seals), they could potentially overcome it.

it requires it when he is about to teleport a large object. naruto+sasuke+toad. To teleport the nine tail demon fox 16 years ago, he had to create a large enough chakra so that he can teleport the nine tail demon fox.

Tobirama says jump, then it shows a handsign and it says hiraishin no jutsu, to me that seems self explanatory.....especially as he was using no other jutsu at the time.

against an opponent like obito/juubito this doesn't make him any weaker, because juubito is just as fast or faster. Right now this battle is with speed and only minato is going to be able to match it

don't worry he will save his son and sasuke. He hasn't been blown to pieces like the first, second and third did yet. You should be disappointed on them. I guess they served their purpose. thanks to them, juubito is being studied lol

Wow nice find...imo don't worry about others I believe it was a good find. Although...weaker? You could have said Minato uses handseals for FTG. I think Minato is very powerful, but to be shown using seals to do FTG is indeed a good find. I always thought he didn't.

Re-read the scene. Minato tried to do something(we see him weaving handseals), probably wanted to warp his son away like he did with his original, but since Sasuke intervened, he didn't need to anymore and came back to the initial plan(neutralise Jubito)

look at his arms/position when he is telling his toad to hold the nine tail demon fox. He is doing it so he can gather the chakra needed faster to teleport large objects
