And you missed the part where Minato's kunais(that he was holding) suddenly disappeared at that moment, so it seems that he smh prepared his kunais somewhere(probably around Obito) before blocking his kicks. I think there is a relationship with his next move(reason why he said "make it in time" in the end)

I don't think that's what he meant though...does the seal he places hold chakra? Also...has he ever actually been seen or has it actually been said that he can teleport something or someone without touching them? I'm not sure just asking. I could be wrong.

His clone did it during this same chapter(teleporting Gamakichi, Naruto and Sasuke without touching them)
