The fact remain that nothing in the profecy says it's Naruto. It's Minato the one who analysed things and noticed it could be no one else than Naruto. He then created that great plan i mentioned in the OP and worked till now. Jiraya was the one he entrusted by giving him the key to take care of Naruto when the time come, so sooner or later, Jiraya would have come to take Naruto

And once again, no matter what minato did that day, naruto would end up being the saviour of the world, The frog cannot be wrong.. Minato knows this, so instead of letting the fox run around for tobi to end up capturing it, he put it in naruto, considering the fox can't be wrong, it means one day he would end up controlling its power...

And once again, i know his reasoning is based on the profecy, i know he knew there was a child of profecy, but he didn't know WHO was that child of profecy. Many people, Jiraya included even believed it was him. Nothing in that night even forced him to die(Kushina said that), but he prefered to die because at the end he believed it was his son. It's him who came to the conclusion it would be Naruto, no one else since Naruto's name is never mentioned in the profecy to begin with
