Whenever an uchiha becomes a juubi jinchuriki, he must first defeat a bunch of Hokage. Both times, Minato got the strongest version to fight.
Tsunade skipped Obito entirely, Hiruzen, Hashirama and Tobirama fought mindless Juubito and Minato fought Obito when he had full control over the juubi.
When it was madara's turn, Hiruzen bailed out altogether, Tsunade fought Edo Madara, Hashirama fought Edo/Blind Madara, Tobirama fought One Eye SM Madara, and Minato was left to fight Juubi Jinchuriki Madara.

Kishi is unfair to Minatos.

Also, not forget that Hashirama, Tobirama and Hiruzen got their Edo bodies completely crushed, while Minato only got his two arms crushed, which means he was the only one who did not need to regenerate his arm back.
