Iruka can't compare to kakashi, who was there for naruto and sakura(random fodder) the whole story and tried his best for sasuke.

He was still there for him mentally and physically when everyone else wasn't. Take it up your @ss.

Being there for the entire story doesn't mean jack shii. Obviously he was there for plot and for his fanbase, and Kishi's purpose. That doesn't automatically make him the best just because we know more and he gets more screen time.

If you're going to label a sensei because of the success and the life of their students. Then, I'd say Jiraya would be the best. He taught 4 high class ninja's:

• Naruto
• Nagato
• Konan
• Minato

Not only that, but all his "children" greatly affected the world, some of which a bad way at first. (Even at that, wasn't really his fault if they did). But, someone like pain made amends for what he has done. He was praised and even recognized by quite a few too. He might get "distracted" but, he was probably the most entertaining sensei as well.

Good point, but Minato student help defeat Kaguya, and they are in very crucial role to protect Jiraya student(Naruto) from getting stab by Ash bone.

Sasuke was on the right track til Itachi showed up.And even then.After Naruto and Sasuke fought on the hospital,Kakashi talked things out with Sasuke,chapter 177,and Sasuke began to think about his comrades again,then the Sound 4 come in and messed things up.

Kakashi was a good teacher.He can't be with Sasuke 24/7 helping him.He helped Sasuke develop alot.He is the one who sealed Sasuke's CM which stopped it from messing Sasuke up even without using it.He trained Sasuke,helped him develop really quickly so he could gain power and wouldn't really on the CM,which would lead to Orochimaru then Itachi came in as i said before,showed Sasuke him murdering their family via Tsukuyomi Flashback for 24 hours straight.

Sasuke's knocked out for a month,wakes up,having more hatred than ever,disregards his teamates for the first time,fights Naruto,then chapter 177.

Jiraiya's good but Kakashi is better.His students are better,and Naruto's growth significantly increased when he was with Kakashi.3 weeks with Kakashi>2 years and 8 months with Jiraiya
