Well there is a lot of threads who start to believe Minato was not a original ninja, but was just a copy-cat who never created something on his own. Let me tell you that manga and databook disagree with you

Misconception:
People believe the Flying Thunder God Slash Tobirama used is a teleportation technique because of the similarity in the name, but i have to disagree with this one because:
1- It's not the first time in this manga we see jutsus with similar names which are not related at all. For example, there is a technique that starts with the same name as a gentle fist style technique like
2- Yes it's true, the name is similar to Minato's jutsu, but what people are forgetting is the last word of the name Flying Thunder God Slash
The fact his technique is a slash means it's a kenjutsu technique. For those who don't know what slash means here you can find a proper definition of it:

So like you can see, it was a sword technique. A comparable technique can be Mifune's quick slash technique for example
