This is just a simple thread about Minato. He isn't a failure and everyone who think he is, is just a jealous person (Although, it's a fictional charatcter)

When Naruto first met his father he blamed him for the life he had to live because of it. His father explained to him he believed he could save the world using the power he was shunned with. Throughout the series so far, he conveyed how much belief he has in a son he only spent moments with and the regret he has that they couldn't be there for him.


Despite that he still made sure that him and his wife could see their son when the time came.


It was because of his father, mother, his teachers and his hard childhood that he was able to learn what it means to not give up and endure.

His childhood could of been worse, but it wasn't easy. He was shunned as a monster and forced to live without his parents. It was tough but because he inherited his mother's audacity and his fathers will, he was determined to be acknowledged.

He wasn't alone. He always had Jiraiya(although he was absence as his role of a god father), Iruka and Hiruzen to watch over him.

Gaara's father did worse to his son. Unlike him, Minato did not have the intentions of weaponizing his son.

He was incapable of sealing the entire Kurama inside him, even if he did that, Kurama would of been re birthed and Konoha would be without a tailed beast..

People forget that his original plan was to die with half the 9-tails and give the other half to his son. Leaving Kushina to look after their son when he passes.

Kushina's motherly instincts couldn't sit back and watch her husband and possibly her son get impaled and jumped in-between the Claw and Naruto to ensure it didn't kill him

I love the fact that people keep bashing Minato by calling him a failure when he and Naruto saved the alliance several times already. I also love the fact people completely ignore that the other hokages have just as bad, if not worse fails. Example. Hashirama and Tobirama were taken out by some of the weakest attacks in the manga the black rods. If that isn't a bad fail, I don't know what is.
