Minato is so underrated these days,so much that people even compare him to characters who cant even last 1sec against him.by the time am through explaining,you would see that even BM naruto has yet to surpass him in all fields.
Minato fought with obito,throughout the fight,both specialized in short range,and i definitely know short range techniques were being exploited.minato never used any long range technique,because like his opponent,he is a speedstar,even the fastest jutsu(maybe...kirin) cant keep up with them.seriously why waste your chakra on a powerful technique which is bound to fail,instead of just outsmarting your enemy and overwhelming him.thats why minato never showed any long range technique,
Its not that he doesnt have,he has but when fighting a speedster,long range techs are useless.thats the same strategy kurama/naruto used against tobi,when naruto fought tobi headon,he didnt use any long range techs like rasenshuriken,instead it was rasengan;a short range tech.
People also come up with the facts that minato knows only 3 techs,with rasengan being his only offensive jutsu,seriously guys,wise up,nobody will be elected hokage having only 3-4 techs.the guy was deemed as once in a lifetime genius by many.shizune even complimented that if minato where alive,orochimaru would have been dead.
He is a true sealing master,probably better than jiraiya.seriously,this guy is no joke,he fought a bijuu,teleported both kurama and his tbb,he also redirected it.
The only time minato fought was with tobi,and the abilities he displayed where 4-5(hakkeshou fuin,FTG,sealing barrier,rasengan,Reaper death seal)see what am talking about,he is a fuijutsu type ninja,most of his jutsus are based on seals,which are on a different level.during tobi and naruto's fight,naruto showed only two techs,which where tbb and rasengan.
Even the secret fuinjutsu passed down from parent to child,minato got it,and passed it down to naruto.
The guy soloed an entire army all by himself,he basically ended the 3rd shinobi war all by himself(show manga scan as proof if you dont agree)
Minato is way strong,he has many jutsus,and rasengan aint his only offensive tech,he probably has jutsus that can make strong defences weep.he is a kage.no kage has only 4-5 techs.if he was alive,i dont see Obito beating him,heck the only person who could beat him is madara.imagine this;the only time we ever saw minato fight to death is during obito and kurama arc,and it was only once.that fight was on another level,minato schooled tobi in minutes,the same tobi giving BM naruto so much trouble.
My aim is to point out that,because we saw minato fight once and used only 4-5 techs doesnt mean thats all he has.besides is intelligence is on another level,maybe in madara or kurama's league(not sure on kurama,becus he's thousands of years old),i dont think itachi is even close to minato's intelligence.
