It's clear that Naruto is getting the other half of Kurama's chakra. Minato going KM was just to show that he has the other half.

Minato is an edo and doesn't even need that chakra. His chakra supply won't run out and his FTG speed is still the same... So there wasn't any need for him to go KM, except to give a hint on what the gift is.

i think so.but the question is naruto has kurama's yang chakra(correct me if im wrong) if minato give other part yin chakra then what may be happen... may be ithis gift is unpredictable seems to be something amazing that we never seen b4.

it's also thinkable, a gift is something that makes the person(who is given) happy and surprise. after long time if a dad give his son some power then its unexpected cause its not called gift. try to understand one thing that naruto is strong enough he doesn't need any power from his dad, if suddenly his dad appears whom naruto never seen(mean never feel existence) b4 its the biggest gift to narto and for minato's gift to naruto something like this that he thought he would give something to naruto but couldn't if that thing minato gives now that's called gift don't you think it makes sense ...
