It's probably not a mistake, but Kishi definitely changed his mind here. I can understand why Obito, Kakashi, and Rin didn't address Minato by his proper title, since he was their teacher (although Kakashi directly not obeying him is a bit of a stretch). But his soldiers not addressing him by his proper title? I guess Kishi decided that Minato became Hokage before Kakashi Gaiden

This is either a mistake or a plothole. Minato should NOT have been the Hokage at the time Kakashi was Genin turning Chunin.

i dont think minato was officially the hokage because before kakashi was even chosen to be the sixth hokage, the stone face carver was asking kakashi to let him take a picture of his face. so i guess the stone is carved long before a person is chosen to be hokage.

If Minato's face was put on before he officially became hokage, then why wasn't tsunade's face added before she officially became hokage or even during part 1 of Naruto. Just admit guys Kishi ****ed up BIG TIME with this one.
