Lol people talk about minato like he is fodder now, but people ignore the fact that obito has been using talk no jutsu on minato! It is clear that minato is emotionally attached to this fight, and haven't been the same since he found out they were fighting obito! People also forget that minato was doing all the work for the hokages before he found out obito was playing a part in this war, minato in the last chapter even broke down and blamed himself for the war! Those of you who say tobirama is smarter than minato are retarded because tobirama has been able to fight at his full potential ...unlike minato who hasn't been the same since obito arrived! (His student he assumed was dead) Tobirama is more serious than minato but not smarter.

Beside I know it without a doubt based on mangafacts that Obito or Tobirama > Minato, until proven otherwise by Kishimoto.

Also I agree with OP.

The difference is that Tobirama is way more logic, and even if he knew he had to deal against a Student he would keep as sharp as ever to engage without doubts.

One of the rules of shinobi is to fight without showing any emotions in the battlefield, so Minato is demonstrating that even not being as good shinobi as Tobirama, he is still human.
